Chapter 214: vii. Pregnancy

It took the king a year and a half before his anger subsided. By which point her body already became accustomed, no rather, addicted to his touch.

It seems like he knew this would happen. He seemed to know exactly how her body wanted to be touched.

To say that she has learned to be more reliant on him will be an understatement. In fact, she has become the perfect little wife he always hoped for her to be.

She has learned to depend on him as much as he depended on her. And she has learned to need him as much as he does need her.

So it did not make sense. No, this trouble did not make sense at all.

"What did you say?" Dominus's voice boomed throughout the room, his anger apparent to everyone inside.

"Your grace, it is my..." the clinician cleared his throat, forcing himself to speak before the king whose anger now threatens to consume all that was present thereat.
