Chapter 33: The Strongest Human
"...The High ranking demons are invading. Make sure to not let them pass the second line of defense." A Man screamed as he gave out an order.
This place was the border of Demon and Human empires where the human races were constantly defending against the demonic races. They could see five huge demon ogres walking toward them with weapons in thier hands. From the side of the humans, the mages started to fire attacks like fireballs and thunderbolts but it had no effect against them.
The elites among the humans were ready and well-equipped to face the demons. They jumped down the walls to face the demons, and one of them flew into the sky with blue crystal wings in the sky.
" There is something wrong with them, thier body is glowing red..." The one with a crystal wing spoke, and on his chest was a communicator.
–I thought only I noticed it.– A voice came out of his communicator. – Maybe it's some kind of buff effect –
" I will attack first and wait for you!" The man spoke.
––Understood–– More than one person spoke at the same time.
The man with a crystal wing flew higher and faster, he decided to distract the high-ranking demon since there were no flying demons in the sky so it was up to him to launch an attack before the warriors who were fighting on the ground can get in position.
" Skill Activate [ Thunder Lance]" The man shouted as lightning coursed through his body and formed into a lance in his hand. He aimed the lance toward one of the demons. The demon had red skin and four horns over his head, his nose looked like a hog and his teeth were coming out from his lower jaw. The Demon wore black armor with demonic enchantments visible over it.
The lance of lighting was thrown with so much strength that it left a trail of light behind. However, the Demon reacted in time and raised his enchanted shield to block the attack.
" They are intelligent." The man spoke, this time not getting any reply because every other member of the elites was busy fighting the demons on the ground. The elites on the ground were not having a hard time killing the demons but because of the huge number, they were not able to assist in the fight with the high-ranking demons.
One of the huge high-ranking demons grabbed boulders on the ground and threw them with all his strength toward the human forces. The attack caused the death of several humans and demons, it also broke the golems that were blocking low-ranking demons from moving forward to fight with humans.
The Man in the sky attacked using the same skill again and again to the same demon and slowly broke the damaged pieces of armor. After being pushed back into the corner the red demon roared, and ripped the armor that it was wearing.
A reddish glow emanated from his body and gathered towards his mouth. Then he fired all of that red ball of demonic energy at the enemy in the sky who flew at an even greater height to dodge. Seeing how strong that energy was, this time the man with wings threw his lance toward the sky making the clouds turn into thunderclouds.
" Skill activated [ Wraith Of The Sky]" He shouted and several lighting bolts descended on the demon and at the same time targeted the red demon. However, while it was being attacked by lightning and was screaming in pain, it started to gather the same energy once again and ran forward toward the warriors on the ground. The lightning followed the demon wherever he ran to.
Eventually, it jumped among the human forces on the ground, and everyone got the idea of what it was trying to do. They ran for thier lives, some activated thier defensive skill but those who weren't far away from the demon knew that it was futile.
BOOOOOM!
A large explosion occurred as the high-ranking red demon blasted itself into pieces.
' They would go so far–!' The man witnessed the death of that demon and along with it the death of four elites who couldn't defend themselves against its self-destruction.
However soon his attention shifted to other high-ranking demons, they too started to gather that strange red energy into thier bodies. Seeing what happened last time the flying elite panicked.
He threw two more lances toward the sky and the clouds darkened and roared even more fiercely. After that, he rained down a barrage of lightning over these demons but all of them withstood the attack even if they had taken huge damage they were still not dead.
" My attack's not working, everyone retreat!" He commanded and the human forces ran for thier lives.
The high-ranking demons started to run forward, four of them at the same time like that red demon ogre had jumped towards the humans.
The situation was hopeless for everyone, none of them had thought that this confrontation would turn out like this.
' No...they are going to self-destruct–' The man with crystal wings thought but was distracted by a light.
Suddenly radiant light flashed into the sky as all the clouds disappeared at once. The sun became visible and a man jumped onto the battlefield from the sky in white and golden color armor.
" Skill Activate [ Solar Charge]" The man spoke and aimed both of his hands toward the demons who were running forward to self-destruct themselves.
A sphere of golden light gathered in front of his hands and it shot forward like a beam. The beam penetrated the chest of one demon then changed the direction of the beam toward the other three remaining demons, incinerating them as well. The attack was so powerful that nothing remained of the demons who came in contact with it or even got near that beam.
" Skill activate [ Divine Flames]" The entire Battlefield was covered by a golden flame, it only killed demons while humans were being healed by it.
" What just happened?" The man flying in the sky could not believe it even after seeing everything with his own eyes. One man alone dealt with hundreds and hundreds of demons and five high-ranking demons in a matter of seconds. But soon he realized that it was possible if that man was who he think he was.
" So this is the power of the strongest human...The power of Bushche Morthar." He spoke.
