Now that she had taken a second look at him after putting away her condescending thoughts, she felt that she has met her match, No! She has met someone that is far more stronger than her.

"Still wanna fight? Or will you go ahead and call the emperor," Jack taunted as he smirked at her.
Irene who was about to get angry again suddenly saw the man raise his hands in the air again and this time thousands of attacks with the same amount of mana were gathered above his head.
"I can do this all day but I prefer to deal with you in a single shot," Jack replied.
'What the hell is this? He is too powerful, not even Zeref himself might have the power to do destruction of this level,' Irene truly felt fear for her life.
Though with it also came relief, relief that she may finally die, in that way, she will be able to get rid of her boring life of numbness.
And her daughter will finally be free of the danger that she herself poses to her daughter.
Though just as she was about to enter her land of daydreaming, Jack called off the attacks and the thousands of deadly spells disappeared into thin air.
"Sigh, I guess we can fight another day now that 'he' is finally here," Jack smiled as he ignored the towering dragon sage and looked at Zeref who was standing in the throne room that had been wrecked.
Irene who had just been relieved didn't know what else to do so she just stayed there.
"Oh! So It's finally happening, you are the one that Mavis likes, is that right, Jack?" Jean said excitedly as she chomped down on some food like a glutton.
Jack could only nod with a smile as he turned his head back to Zeref.
"Who are you people, and what business do you have with me?" Zeref asked as he assessed the two people in front of him.
That's when he noticed the Fairy Tail insignia on their shoulders.
"Fairy tail!…. I didn't know Mavis had such strong children."
"You could say that, I just came to see first hand how strong the so called immortal Dark mage is," Jack smiled as he looked at Zeref who was doing the same.
Zeref could feel that the person in front of him wasn't normal, to say in another words, he wasn't of this world, he wasn't a god or an apostle either.
He was a dragon but not the same as those of Earthland, It was safe to say that Zeref had become curious about Jack who was not of this world or was a new being or whatever.
He who was looking for ways to die was happy to meet a new person.
August who had also arrived at this time was both shocked and angry, Shocked because his father, Zeref was happy and Angry because of what he saw.
Brandish was covered in binding flames, likely captured by her captors and others lay on the ground, Irene was silently floating in the skies as if she was in a daze.
He tried his best to calm his anger as he arrived beside Zeref and bowed.
"I have failed my Majesty! Please punish me," August apologised as he gave a bow.
It wasn't everyday you got to see the strongest under Zeref bow in shame.
"No worries, these are friends….for now,"

The battle finally ended as Zeref invited both Jack and Jean to his throne room for tea while August was left to deal with the Aftermath.
The empire was in turmoil due to the battle, a battle of such level had even alerted Fiore that was far away.
Intelligence was exchanged between the spies as to what happened in the empire.
"Please take a seat," Zeref continued.
Jack and Jean took a seat along with Zeref who poured tea for the two.
"What can I help you with?" Asked Zeref.
"Where do you come from?" Zeref asked again.
"Haha! I just wanted to see The so-called Strongest mage and see what kind of curse Ankhseram cast on you,"
Zeref froze upon hearing Jack but soon calmed down again.
"I see…and have you satisfied your curiosity,"
"Yes I have! Though I am wondering if whether or not you want to be set free along with Mavis," Jack smirked as he saw the famous dark mage break his character.
