Tianling looked up at the golden clock, her eyes narrowing. 

There was no way these two mortals could come even close to such a level of mastery.

Her eyes began glowing with golden light as she activated another of her abilities. 

With this ability, she was able to follow a golden string of energy from the clock until it entered Li Yao's body.

"She's the one doing it?" she chuckled softly. "Pfft, no chance."

There was no way Li Yao could accomplish such a thing. Even the heavenly dao body must have its limits. 

Her expression became much more serious. If Li Yao wasn't the one controlling the clock, then who was?

Someone else must be helping her. Just who could it be? It had to be someone from the upper realm.

Tianling nodded to herself as understanding dawned. There was no way the heavenly dao body would appear here without anyone noticing it. It seemed others already had their eyes on this prize.
