King of the Forest

For some reason the whole population of the world was given the chance to enter a new world as starting Lords. Able to recruit troops, heroes, build buildings, and for the truly fortunate develop their own kingdom and power.

Some chose not enter as this was permanent and death was an all too real fate. Others did. This story follows the story of one such man given the randomized lord skill [Evolution]. With enough resources the man named Thomas Gaines can evolve his troops, heroes, buildings, and other things. Although the cost is never cheap!
