Chapter 72: Iron hand?
"Don't you ever think of hurting Michael! Neither tries to lay one of your nasty fingers to him. You see worst from worst if you disobey me."
The man puffed out the last breath of his cigarette laughed frantically. He dropped the cigarette on the floor and stepped and squeezed it really hard. "Do you think I will believe you with that nonsensical threat of yours? Do you think that I will buy that from how you tried to take care of yourself?" He threw his arms around him and pint point the fitness equipment laying down on the floor. "Next time you tried to threaten me with your words, make it more realistic for me to buy it, moron."
The man left America's apartment in a swift moment. He thought, 'how will I give the revenge she deserves if she doesn't want me to hurt that asshole?' While stuffing another cigarette into his mouth an idea came into his mind.
"What if I make that Zoey suffer? Will she be satisfied?"

Compare to what America is experiencing after their so-called break-up, Michael is like living on his own paradise. Being able to see his Zoey makes him happy as ever be.
Bugging Zoey's life, I mean, trying to get her back became his life priority. Within two months, a lot of things became a norm at the four corners of ASC.
1. Michael never missed a day in sending Zoey whatever he thought Zoey would love.
2. Also, flowers have been a regular to the nearest trash bin at the entrance door of Station A.
3. Accounting and Administration staffs will soon be diagnosed with diabetes from all the chocolates and sweets Zoey shared with them.
4. May filtering her emails because Michael will flood him of messages directed to Zoey. Her constant answering of his calls wanting for him to redirect him to Zoey's line.
Maybe to the eyes of anyone, these things don't bear any value nor essence to the persons involved but everything that was mention became an eyesore to Nickel, ASC's COO.
One early morning, Nickel came to the office to attend an early morning conference with the head personnel of Sealed Corporation. Upon entering his office he caught one housekeeper placing a bouquet of tulip and a box of chocolates on Zoey's table. It was five in the morning. Furious of what he saw, Nickel slammed the door wide and said, "And you asked you to do that?"
The housekeeper, a woman at the age of forty, was distraught from being caught on the act didn't know what to do because she blew up the important reminder given to her.
"Don't let Director Fuentes sees you."
"I'm asking you! What are you doing?" Nickel wasn't his normal self, although he was already frightening on his daily basis, this time he was like a demon rose from hell.
"Director… Fue-Fuentes… aaaah aaaa-I ju-just asked for pla-pla-place this to Oooo-officer Zoey. Aaaa-I didn't kno-know his reason to do so. Ple-please believes me." The woman stuttering in explain her version to Nickel, but he didn't bat an eye to her while speaking suddenly said.
"Really? Okay then. You can go out." With his calm tone, the woman didn't know what will happen to her next.
After finishing his meeting around 9 am, Nickel called Liao to inform her to give the housekeeper her last paycheck. "Give her last payment. Pay her to advance and tell her to never step another foot in ASC."
Liao, who was clueless for his reason, wanted to ask him but dropped the idea because she doesn't want to be questioned again for not following what she has told too.
After their phone call, Liao asked the housekeeper to meet her at the conference. Liao passed an envelope with cash inside and said, "Sorry, but we cannot have you anymore. I'm really sorry."
The woman started crying and trying to explain everything to Liao but Liao doesn't know a thing.
"It wasn't my decision. It was from the Director's office."
The woman' weak knees failed her body to support her suddenly fell on the floor. She thought that maybe this is the consequences she had for disobeying him not to accept any commands or request from the Orb representative.
Quote with is words:
"It was ASC whose paying for your service, not Orb Corp. I don't like anyone of you accepting any request nor commands outside these four walls."
Perhaps this is so harsh for the collaborator they gain before establishing the headquarters but that was one of Nickel's conditions for accepting and allowing own representative present all day at ASC branch.
