Gene Salem is a professional street racer who makes his living by taking risks in underground competitions. One day, luck turns its back on him and he gets into an accident. Having lost the ability to walk, he loses everything: his motorcycle, his money, his future. Falling into debt and unable to get out of it, he decides to turn to the occult sciences.
