The night wasn't as long as Rania had expected, or maybe she had been too numb that she had lost sight of where she was. She had been trying to get up since Oshita left her and while it may have counted as a breach of trust, the agreement was clear.

Kim Rania was only to be buried if she died and she hadn't. Her body was aching, and her wolf was mad at her, even though it got to a point where Rania had to give up fighting against her healing, and let herself heal.

'For the damned trial,' Rania said to herself as she triggered her werewolf healing abilities. She was still an alpha wolf which also meant that her abilities were better. This could also explain how she was fixed four hours after the sun came up.

She was hungry and tempted to let her wolf go hunting, but time wasn't on her side. She had seen the message Oshita had left, and she thought they weren't kidding. Hastening the trial was already done, and it was just people outside of Obren who didn't know it yet.
