Synopsis
Sakamaki Izayoi is bored with his regular life. Quirk Restriction Law doesn't allow normal citizens to use their powers publically. So, on advice he decides to enroll in U.A. High, the most prestigious hero academy to get a license to use his powers freely.
Note: Both MHA and Izayoi Sakamaki are creation of their respective owner.
I wanted to try writing something with Izayoi for long time, he is a overpowered character and not much fanfics about him.
The anime didn't do well for god knows what reason.

Dude, being quite honest, I went into the story expecting one thing and I got something very disappointing. As another review has already said, the MC doesn't interact properly, there's no description, the pace is very fast and inconsistent, and on top of that, the MC is extremely weak compared to the real Izaya! In my opinion, the original Izaya would have at least a strength comparable to, if not superior to, All Might at his peak, and on top of that, the MC has the ability to nullify/destroy other gifts in the original, so the MC should have a strength comparable to All Might (which, by the way, All Might himself says in the manga that at his peak it would take 5 hits to defeat the first Nomu), and even with the ability to nullify the Nomu's absorption ability, he loses to him! And he's still injured!
You might aswell drop this story author, ruined it already with how monotone it is as well as the nerfing of the mc. Could have been a good slice of life fic with some op mc but naahhh. Goodluck
Overall while it was intersting to see how Izayoi works in the world of MHA, the pacing of the story really just felt too fast. You mentioned not wanting to write over the top descriptive stories but your story suffers from pacing issues and just how it really doesn't work well combined with the short chapters. Its all about balancing and really it just felt weak as its just Izayoi slapped into MHA without much thought. He doesn't interact with his classmates, we don't really see him much outside of what happens in canon and he is just a tag along who really doesn't bring much to the world. Its just following basic canon.
