I read until chapter 39. Still not sure if I like this story or not. The FL is okay. Although she is being bullied by everyone else, she doesn't let anyone push her down too far. She fights back. The ML is not that likeable, so far. It could change in the next chapters though. The ML is a rich jerk?. He helps the FL but he also has other intentions. It's too early to decide whether this is a good book or a waste of time. We'll see what the future chapters have in store. Looking forward for more.
1. You can't tell whether to cry or laugh at the male lead's thought process. (You will definitely smile though). 2. The first encounter of the lead couple WAS ONE OF A KIND! Too unique. 3. GOSH I MUST RECOMMEND YOU THIS!!!!! This story is SO GOOD!!! The FL is an illegitimate child. So i have often come across illegitimate being a white lotus and being put aside but this novel is way the other way around. And that's why i like this book. The female lead is bold, smart and she likes faceslapping. She doesn't give a damn about the ml which is so cool. She is so fierce and awesome. So the ml uses her at first to get out of his arranged marriage with her sister. Her sister is the real daughter and inheritance of the Jiang Family so fl is illegitimate and they like to bully her. But due to ml using her he can't seem to let her go and seems to be interested into her and wants to marry her. The ML for me i have no dislike toward him, he is a very sweet guy. Dominant yes but he is caring. I hope this novel get picked

The story is developing very slowly but chapters are very well written. The first 40 chapters and more happen only in one night. The FL is strong and ML wants to take advantage of her to cancel his engagement with her sister. Good plot. All the best
Very good read. Just have to take your time to understand the book. It takes you on a world end spin. Other then that I really think you will love it.
Bai Ranโs character is arrogantly out of place especially on matters confronting the Male Lead, Quan Rui. For the 60 chapters, there are still a lot of things to be excited to know in the next chapters. Story is good. Female Lead is not a pushover.
40 pages to one night but it's a very good read and follow if you get into it know it will have a crund tone of chapters and probably will take forever to read

This is a really good read. Loving it. Our FL is a strong girl, I love her!! ML is self-centred and conceited, but is also a gentleman towards the FL. I love him too. The side characters, till now, are well made and the story has an average pace. I really am in love this story and will be voting for it, so that, the translators will give us mass releases and more chps/week. AUTHOR-san deserves a huge round of applause!! Translators, Thank you for all your hard work...it means a lot, love you for what you do!!! Being utterly shameless but more chapters please!!!!!!
I am quite disappointed in this story. It started out well and I felt that it was very promising but nothing came of it. First, I absolutely hate that the narration keeps changing from third person to first person. The frequent monologues are annoying and confusing. I honestly feel that relying on the monologues to fill up the gaps between conversations is a very lazy and unimaginative way of telling a story. Second, there is sometimes an unexplainable disconnect between what the author states and what the reader can see. It makes one feel that the author is trying to force certain traits on a character. Instead of allowing the readers to see those traits by developing a character, the author chooses to force the reader to accept even when they can't see it. Third, I read 60 chapters and I still can't figure out anybody's personality. The strongest feeling I have about any of the characters is a bit of distaste for the ML. The story has a lot of incomprehensible and contradictory things that make enjoying the novel very hard. In the end, the most memorable thing about reading it is recalling how impatient I was to get to chapter 60 so that I can move on to something else.

So I'm guessing this novel will be one of those that has thousands of chapters on it ๐ But don't get discouraged because there's an upside to that! We got ourself a strong FL with a backbone and an ML who seems to fell in love with our FL at first sight. Seems to me we got a wife slave on the making folks! ๐ฅฐ
