Chapter 2: An insane dream
Janice came home late at night, her class schedule of six to seven o'clock was being rearranged. Fortunately, the location where her place is safe and accessible. Every corner has a CCTV monitor and a nearby 24/7 convenient store, a bakery, and even a hospital. She walks 500m a day to reach her university and vice versa. She didn't need to drive every day going to university.
Although this place she owned was bought by her parents for her. Janice Never rely on them. She had worked and paid nicely but it was not extravagant earnings.
It was said that the peach blossom apartment is one of the grand and luxurious places in A City. Most of the residents here are from the wealthy class. Janice Madrigal's family is not classified as rich and not poor either. Just enough status as a government educator family.
Raymond Madrigal Janice father is a division head superintendent in their City and her mother, Jasmine Madrigal is a school principal in primary government school. While her older sister Rowena Madrigal is also a teacher majoring in mathematics. Janice is the only one pursuing another field although she is currently teaching biology subject while schooling medicine at the same time. So in her whole day was a bit restless added the fact that her schedule was rearranged.
In the elevator lift, as it was about to close a hand grab the door to halt. The guy entered. He was about to press the button but stop in the midway, retract his hand and shove inside his pocket.
The appearance of the man seems suspicious wearing a black ball cap with a matching black mask. A black jacket and black pants all cover his physical features.
The sound of the bell ring indicating they reach their floors. She steps out first and quickens her steps as she tightens the grip of her bag. She listen as the sounds of foot steps direction. As she hear the sound following behind her she cannot contain her worries. When she is at her doorway she unlocked and manage to inter the code swiftly to be unnoticed to the other party as she turn to face the guy behind her. Putting all her force and kick him hard in his inguinal region. Her foot rise flung on the air surface swiftly. Aiming to the fatal part of the suspicious man.
"Woah, miss easy, easy...." he said as he tried his best to nudge the attack she gave.
"Who are you? What do you want? Why are you following me?" Janice asked bravely obscuring her fear.
"Who said I am following you?" Said him coldly "Are you worthy of my time?" as the guy walks past her with a gloomy face.
Janice, on the other hand, was being wooden. She cannot process what happened. ' Wait, am I being too restless?! I overthink things ' shaking her head off. As was watching the back of the man who she was about to assault. 'no, this matter is too embarrassing. No, no, no, why did I let my self be embarrassed two times in a raw. This should not be good if continued'
Back in her apartment, she realizes that she needs to apologize to her neighbor for her impudent.
She was thinking of a way to approach the man.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
The man was startled by the loud noise from his own front door.
Agitate. He put his pen close his book. Set his one foot in balance, kick off the chair as he is to stand. Walking heavily towards the door. Peeping the door hole. He sigh.
" What now?!" a chilly voice sounded as he opens his door to her.
" A-a-aam w-well you k-know, " Janice said stuttering as her index finger we're pressing together in front of both of them. Her actions may seem childish but looking at her round brown eyes, flush cheeks, and her rosy lips. The image in front of him is so captivating. This is the first time he felt something like this in a lady.
" Well you see I never intended to be rude, just wary by the fact that your appearance earlier was suspicious." she looks pitifully as she finishes her sentences in one go.
Never she realizes that the man in front of her was about to explode from the feeling of he never recognized. His urge to caress her cheeks, taste her cherry lips, and met his brown eyes, and be drawn deeply.
"erm" light cough escape from his thin lips as he trudges in front of her and she steps backward to avoid him. A little panic stimulates at Janice's' once more. "what are you doing? stop right here" as she pushes the man but no avail. The man's strong manifestation approaches herself to kiss her.
" Wooaahhh." she chokes as she wakes up from her nightmare. wiping out her forehead as it was covered with sweat. "What an insane dream."
