Kara's POV

Kara stood by the window dressed in the black jeans and black t-shirt she was wearing. Her hair fell freely to her back and she had a flowering patterned scarf over it. it was her way of rebelling over the fact that she has to attend a funeral she didn't want to attend because the grownups thinks it would help bring her some closure.

They said it would help to attend his funeral and that it was okay to grieve too but why in God's name should she grief for someone who made it his life mission to destroy her?.

Why should she weep for Kane, he was nothing but a cold stone killer who tried to kill her numerous times but she was a kid and sometimes, the adults do know better and now, she was in a hotel in new York city waiting to be taken to the cemetery.

There was a knock on the door but Kara didn't turn around. She simply yelled "Come in!"
