Chapter 63: Sod, Saline and Flurris

Luckas was in a daze as he soaked in the yellow light when he felt something splitting within his head. As he heard the noise, Luckas was jolted awake, but before he could react, threads of the yellow light that surrounded him began to flow to his forehead. Luckas attempted to conceal his forehead, but his body didn't move, leaving him with no choice but to watch as this unfolded.

Luckas could still hear muffled voices, and to his surprise, a slew of new voices reached him. -'Who is talking to me? "Is everyone okay?" Luckas was concerned about Byrth, Cyl, Jeffrey, and Philips.

With serious expressions on their faces, Maven and Byrth were observing the changes in the fire blanket. Maven soon resumed her solo conversation. Byrth felt left out and wanted to ask Maven what was really going on when he felt part of the blanket's residual energy dissipate.

Byrth sat down to cultivate after recalling Philip's comments. Now that Maven was here, he was less nervous, and he could concentrate on cultivating.

Maven nodded in agreement as Byrth began to meditate. He sensed a connection between the energy that engulfed Luckas and the energy that Byrth cultivated. - "Oh, this young man is cultivating the Eternal Sun Body?" Maven realized something as he stared in the direction of the fading explosion. "So it was a member of the Eternal Sun Sect who cast the spell. The explosion's energy seemed to have amplified his Elementaryization."

Maven began to gather the leftover energy with his index and middle fingers raised, then pointed his other hand towards Byrth and directed the energy he had gathered towards him.

When Byrth felt a sudden flow of energy coming towards him, he opened his eyes in surprise and saw that it was Maven doing it. Byrth promptly closed his eyes and continued to cultivate, this time with much greater zeal.

Not only was this an incredible opportunity for him, Maven was also assisting him in gathering additional energy. Byrth understood that if he didn't accomplish anything here, he'd be the only one to blame.

Maven looked at the two young men with a glint in his eyes, interested in the new recruits for his household, particularly Luckas. He couldn't help but wonder whether the man joining Jeffrey was a sign of things to come.

The fire blanket engulfing Luckas was now weaker, allowing him to clearly hear the voices. Luckas was taken aback when he realized he didn't recognize any of the three voices currently speaking. Luckas, now that he could move his body again, turned his head in the direction of the voices.

The yellow light that had been blocking his eyesight was gradually dissipating, allowing him to see who was standing next to him. The first person Luckas saw was an unknown man, and Byrth sat next to him.

He was about to continue observing his surroundings when three different colored spheres began to float in front of his head. Luckas assumed this was a side effect of what had occurred to him, but then the circles began to speak, leaving him perplexed.

-" Look! Look! He is finally awake!" Excitedly, the blue sphere began to spin around him.

-" Is he really almost a Greater Elemental? He is so weak, I bet I could win against him." The brown sphere was close to his face, almost as if he was staring at him.

The only silent sphere was the gray one, which scurried away and hid behind the unknown old man's back when he discovered Luckas was awake. Luckas felt as if he was going insane, so he gathered his strength and lifted his arms to touch the brown sphere near him.

When Lucka's hands approached it, the sphere screamed and flew up. - "Don't go around touching people, okay? We've just met!" The brown sphere's voice seems irritated by his attempt.

-" Hahahahahaha, Sod, are you terrified of him? Why are you running away from him?" The blue sphere approached the brown one, and Luckas observed them as they faced each other.

-" Shut up! I'm simply not used to people touching me, especially when the majority of them can't even see us." The brown sphere sounded irritated as he rebutted.

Luckas was at a loss for words as he observed the bizarre things conversing. He sat down and stared at them with some difficulty. - "What the fuck is going on? Where has everyone gone? What exactly are those things? Are they demonic beasts? "

-"How can you call me a demonic beast? I am an Elemental!" As it spoke, the blue sphere flew to Lucka's face. "Not only does he seem weak, but he also appears to be quite stupid!"

Luckas felt awkward because he didn't mean to upset the spheres; he was simply taken aback by the unexpected encounter. -"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way; it's just that I've never met an elemental before." Luckas apologized immediately to the blue sphere.

-" Hahaha, Can you imagine not recognizing one of his kin? How stupid can you get?" The brown sphere approached Luckas and mocked him.

-" One of my kin? What exactly do you mean?" Lucka's perplexity only intensified.

-"Of course, every elemental is a child of Ihphef, The Blessed Mother." The brown sphere kept going.

-" Dumb rock, He's only recently awakened, so he's obviously clueless." The blue sphere began to spin around in delight once more. "Hey, my name is Saline, and the young man who was conversing with Maven said your name was Luckas; may I address you as such? You only need to ask if you want me to show you how to be an elemental!"

Luckas froze when the blue sphere said Maven's name, with a frightened stare, he turned and looked towards the old man who appeared to be an average bum, but Luckas eyes widened even more as he finally processed what Saline said.

-"How can I be an Elemental? I'm only human ——" Before Luckas could respond, the older man nearby interjected.

-"Not any longer, after the Elementaryization, you are just half-human." Luckas was taken aback by the man's voice.
