okay this isn't a word for word from the last time I read something like this but it's a similar to a translation that I've seen and read before where his age can be adjusted but before it wasn't what 49 and the other story he was a lot older and I'm just wondering if this is a translation and if it is why hasn't the author that's translating it giving kudos to the original or if this is an original based off of that fanfic

Basically mc is both kinda dumb, and totally imprisoned by the canon. He can't change anything even when he tries to despite being super strong. Overall, it seems like mc was reincarnated into naruto as punishment of some sort. He's forced to live out plot exactly as things happened in originals watching everyone die not being able to do anything Heck he's grand elder in konoha and uzumaki village but even there he hasn't been able to any cirical changes to make future better. I liked novel for while, but story just became so meaningless since mc has zero agency in this world. We are just watching naruto history happen with new character as spectator. And we have the most infuriating nerf ever by author, he just won't use his points. He has constantly 100s of points but he won't use them for some reason and because of that he's never strong enough to do things properly. He even wasted 100s of points in some temporary power up with no permament increase in power because he was bit too weak. Which he wouln't have been if he just used them to upgrade his stats beforehand.

Honestly, so far this has been an amazing fic with its own unique take on the warring states era with potential for further exploration down the line. The MC is likable, the rest of the cast are portrayed well, would love to see if there would be a fml down the line for some more flavour to an already hearty story. The quality of the writing is top tear. Overall, a great read.

This has some excellent potential! But you have an idiot MC., he cannot do one thing properly the story has almost the same lore as Naruto, this MC can't change anything due to his poor brain. However, it also has some serious potential. The lore piloting back to the original track is also fine, the only thing pulling this down is his useless brain...

The only thing worse than a boring mc is a pathetic one and somehow this guy is both. Not training, strengthening, or researching in a world, literally surrounded by endless war is just stupid. Not learning a single jutsu from 1 of the most OP clans, Stupid. i couldn't even make it past chapter 2.

Very interesting setting... But I don't like comedy and that MC is not OP enough. It's like when u read about those MC that are old, so they SHOULD be UNBELIEVABLY strong. I don't like thing about weak-to-strong, when MC is old.
