Chapter 65: Fight
"That's Arlong?" Usopp whispered while peeking to look outside of the window. Kaya was doing the same. They were currently in Cocoyasi Village and in Nami's house.
"He's not human!" Usopp muttered.
"He's a Fishman." A woman standing beside him muttered.
"But Nami's not with them?"
"Probably at Arlong Park." The same woman replied. She was an average-sized young woman with light blue hair and eyes, and tanned skin.
Her right arm and chest are heavily tattooed - a gesture of sympathy and condolences towards Nami, who was ashamed of her tattoo of Arlong's Jolly Roger.
She is usually seen wearing a beige sleeveless shirt (sometimes a green button-up shirt with yellow stripes), blue trousers and purple sandals. Furthermore, she appears to wear pink lip gloss.
Her name is Nojiko and she is the owner of a tangerine farm in Cocoyasi Village and is the adoptive older sister of Nami.
"I have twenty villages under my control. And if someone dares to go against the higher authority, it can go against the whole system. Gosa Village is the best example of what happens to those who dare to rebel against me. If they don't pay the 'tribute', it means they are rebelling against us! " Arlong grinned while looking down at a man.
He was an average-sized, dark-haired man with a thick mustache; his face typically shows a stern expression. His face and body were heavily scarred by an attack.
His only known outfit is a brown, short-sleeved policeman-esque uniform with sandals; for more than a decade, he wore a pinwheel in this uniform's cap as a means (and later, a memento) of cheering up Nami.
His name is Genzo and he is the sheriff of Cocoyasi Village.
"Tribute? Does he mean the survival tax?" Usopp whispered to Nojiko while they were hiding outside of Nami's house.
"Yes, if there is one person who refuses to pay, the whole village will be crushed, just like Gosa Village." Nojiko replied.
" That's so cruel. " Kaya whispered which Usopp nodded to agree with her.
" That is the way of Arlong. Their kind can kill a person and not feel a single thing. " Nojiko said.
" Listen up! The only duty you inferior humans must do is pay us! You don't have to think of anything else!! Because I want piles and piles of money!! " He then grinned like a maniac.
" Your money will help me in creating an 'Arlong Empire'!!! The empire that will govern every city in East Blue!!!! "

In a random jail cell in Arlong Park, Zoro was leaning against the stone wall while still being tied up.
Suddenly, Nami entered the jail cell. She cut the rope that was tying Zoro up and handed him Wado Ichimonji.
"Get out of here before Arlong comes back!" She warned him before exiting the cell. Zoro then smirked.
" The massacre begins now. "

*BANG!!*
"Ah! Gen-san!" Nojiko muttered in horror. Usopp looked and widened his eyes.
He saw Arlong holding up Genzo who was bleeding from the side of his head. "A person with a weapon is one who wants to go against me! I can't forgive him!! Because he destroyed the whole peace in my area!!" Arlong smirked evilly while looking at Genzo. Usopp gritted his teeth, Kaya looked at him in concern. Nojiko ran out of her hiding spot.
"Release Gen-san!!!" She shouted at Arlong. Arlong looked at her while his large grin remained plastered on his face.
"I told you already that owning a weapon means that you want to go against my rule. I have to kill this man to keep the peace of the areas under my control. Or do you want me to destroy the whole village? You choose, girl." Arlong looked at Nojiko menacingly.
" If any of you hurt one of us. this village will be completely destroyed!" Arlong declared. Genzo coughed and looked at the villagers of Cocoyasi Village.
" Get in your houses everyone. If you fight them now, all of the things we've done for the past 8 years would've been for nothing. If you wanted to risk your lives, we should've done that eight years ago. But we didn't do it, we chose to live and stay with patience! " Genzo coughed again.
" Your speech is very touching! And you are right, because you are alive, you can be happy. Living is the greatest thing. " Arlong grinned as he clutched Genzo's head with one hand.
*BAM!!*
Arlong slammed Genzo into a wooden post that held up a house. The slam splattered blood all over the wood of the house.
"Just live the best life you can!! This man knew it was a waste of time to think against me!! For every living creature, life is unfair!! Hahahahaha!!!!! " Arlong cackled as he threw Genzo at the ground.
" HUMANS SHOULD LIVE AS HUMANS!!!" Arlong shouted at him. Genzo held up a hand at the villagers.
" If you die now, everything we did would have been for nothing! Even though I will die, everyone must fight for his or her life!!! " Genzo declared before being grabbed by Arlong once again.
" One who dares to go against me, will end up like this!!! This is!!! An example!!! " Arlong screamed before trying to throw Genzo into the ground.
"Kayaku Hoshi Boshi!!!!"
Usopp shouted as he jumped onto building after building and kept firing his highly explosive pellets at Arlong.
Arlong was engulfed in explosion after explosion. Genzo grunted as he dropped to the ground and tumbled on it.
Usopp narrowed his eyes. His pellets won't work against someone as durable as Arlong. He just can't stand this cruelty anymore.
"Look! He's on the roof!!"
"I am the bravest warrior of the sea!! Usopp, The Unbeatable Sniper!! Everyone around the world calls me 'Evil Usopp from Hell' !!! If you go back to your place, I will forgive you!! I also have eight thousand crewmen with me!!" Usopp declared bravely.
" Arlong-san, he's the one who escaped from me!!" One of the Fishmen shouted. Usopp cursed and prepared to run away.
"I don't care if you have hundreds of thousands of crewmen, I will kill them all!!! " Arlong shouted. His clothes had large burnt marks on them.
He glared at Usopp who flinched a little. "You puny human!! You're just a weakling!!! But you dare to go against me!!??" Arlong shouted. He grabbed the house Usopp was standing on and picked it up effortlessly.
"WE ARE THE BEST SPECIES!!!"
Usopp landed on the ground and looked at Arlong.
"AND I AM THE BRAVEST MAN!!!" Usopp shouted even though he was trembling on the inside.
"Catch him and I will kill him!!! " Arlong shouted. His henchmen who were all Fishmen started chasing after Usopp who was already zooming away from them.
Usopp took out a Molotov cocktail and threw it at the group. "Catch!!!!" He shouted. One of the Fishmen caught it.
Usopp smirked. "Kayaku Boshi!!!" He shouted before firing an explosive pellet filled with gunpowder.
The pellet smashed through the Molotov cocktail and ignited it.
*FOOOM!!!!*
In an instant, the group of Fishmen who were chasing him caught on fire. Usopp smirked as he heard screams of agony. He kept running away, not looking back.

"That witch told me to escape, but my goal is here..." Zoro grumbled as he laid back against Arlong's throne-like chair. In front of him, dozens of dead Fishmen were lying on the ground.
There were decapitated heads and sliced up bodies. Blood was everywhere too but Zoro was just sitting there like it's just a normal Tuesday for her.
"What the fuck, this is so complicated.... I just hope you don't take your sweet time, Luffy.....She clearly needs help, and only a guy like you can do it.... "
