Elize woke up with a grunt. Her entire body was aching, as if someone had pulled out her skin and waited for it to grow back as they broke her bones one by one. The last thing she remembered was going into the portal. It was the worst experience with a portal that she had had in all her life. A burned smell hung on her skin.
