Chapter 37: Being Followed
Not long after, Wyatt collected his 30 copper coins paycheck from the auction house. Since the battle axe didn't have very intriguing stats, and most top players already passed its level there ended up being only a couple of players bidding for it.
In the end, the winning bidder won the weapon for only 35 copper coins with the auction house taking 5 coins in commission.
Wyatt didn't really care for the price since he considered the axe just some extra loot with little importance. 30 coins were already enough for Wyatt to buy some healing herbs or potions.
After collecting his pay, he headed straight back to the Chakram training field to practice.
During his walk back, Wyatt messaged Bellamy again to re-confirm their plans for the next day. Bellamy told him that he would meet at Wyatt's starting town the next morning and they could play a couple of hours before he had to leave for some family event.
Wyatt didn't mind him leaving early if needed, so after confirming plans he once again focused on his training.
The main focus of his training before heading out was to understand the basics of his new acidic touch skill. It was his first B rank skill so he had pretty high hopes for it.
After a few more hours of training, Wyatt finally had a basic understanding of his new ability. During use, Acidic touch would create a gross greenish brown colored goop that would then seep out of Wyatt's hands.
Since this skill came already in a solid form Wyatt didn't need to spend extra energy solidifying it like with hysteria which made this skill quite easy to use. Since Wyatt was using the skill the Acid didn't affect him, But the second the goop touched another surface it would begin bubbling up and trying to melt everything.
A couple of drops of goop even fell onto the training field floor accidentally creating a couple of burnt marks on the ground. He was sure that his wonderful clean freak of a teacher would be ready to reprimand him whenever she returned.
Although the damage acid touch could cause was extraordinary, it currently had a massive flaw for Wyatt. The acidic goop was actually so powerful that it could melt Wyatt's weapons if he attempted to cover them with the skill.
Due to this fact, until Wyatt got some sturdier weapons he could only release the skill while weaponless. Luckily he used Chakrams which he threw, so he would have plenty of chances while unarmed to practice.
the next couple of hours passed quickly as Wyatt continued practicing his control.
After practice, Wyatt logged off to shower before logging back in to sleep for a couple of hours before meeting up with Bel early the next in game morning.

8 hours later Wyatt woke up inside the bedroom connected to the Chakram training center. Due to the time difference in the game, only 2 real hours had passed while he slept.
The plan was to reunite with Bel in roughly an hour. Seeing that Bellamy hadn't messaged him yet Wyatt decided to grab a quick snack in real life to fill his stomach after his sleep.
Walking downstairs Wyatt said Hello to his aunt who happened to be watching the television in the living room. Wyatt snacked on an apple for a bit while chatting before finishing up and logging back in.
[Dumbbell: I'll be there in about 20 minutes!]
Seeing that Bel finally messaged Wyatt spent the next couple of minutes buying some extra health potions and necessities before heading to the town entrance to meet Bel.
"Over here!"
As Wyatt stepped outside the town gates he suddenly heard a familiar voice call out to him from his side. Turning to his face to look Wyatt found Bel Leaning against a nearby tree with a smile on his face.
Besides the tall man's goofy smile, the first thing Wyatt noticed was the large bone staff Bel was holding in his hands. It seemed the Bel had succeeded in turning the femur bone reward from Arken the wolf into a weapon.
The scene of the tall Bellamy holding a large bone staff while wearing a priest robe really seemed like something out of a fantasy movie, Even Wyatt chuckled a bit while walking over to greet his companion.
"looking fancy Bel! how have you been?" Wyatt commented while greeting Bel with a high five.
"I've been pretty good, Mostly just working on my skills while Mel is busy" Bellamy replied with a chuckle
"Although, I'm definitely not doing as well as you!" Bel suddenly chuckled out loud confusing Wyatt.
"What do you mean?" Wyatt asked in his confusion.
"Oh nothing much at all, great Twite of the Myroc trials" Bellamy continued his laugh
"huh? How did you find out?" Wyatt was surprised that Bellamy somehow knew about his trial.
"How? hahaha, I don't think there's a single person in our kingdom who hasn't heard about the GREAT TWITE and his trial score" Bellamy was greatly enjoying teasing Wyatt, after a couple of more laughs he finally explained.
"Apparently after 2 players broke the Myroc trials 4.5 stars drought, the tower decided to spread this information all over the kingdom creating quite a lot of buzz" he stated while patting Wyatt on the shoulder.
"Honestly, at this point, I'm sure even some nobles in the capital have heard about your talent" Smirking at Wyatt, Bellamy finished his explanation.
It turned out that the Myroc trials were a much bigger deal in the kingdom of Zigural than Wyatt had originally thought, especially now with Wyatt and Hazel performing extremely well.
"Sigh, after hearing about your trial, Mel complained for over an hour about how unfair it is that she was stuck training and couldn't participate" Bellamy rubbed the bridge of his nose while sighing, clearly calming down his energetic sister was not an easy task.
"how about you? don't regret missing the trials?" Wyatt asked while the two of them entered the nearby forest heading toward their destination.
"meh, not really I'm a support anyways so it wouldn't make much sense. I think I could get a decent score just because I've trained my body but I doubt I could compete with your high stats.
The pair journeyed on for another 20 minutes while conversing until Bellamy suddenly stopped.
"Looks like we are being followed!"
