Maxene "Raven" has led a life of violence and terror as a skilled assassin, forced to work for an illegal organization that has used her younger brother hostage as a ransom for her loyalty. Being an orphan with no one but her brother in her life, Maxene was trapped in a life of murder and brutality, with no hopes for freedom. Years have passed, and the organization has finally given her an ultimatum: complete one final mission, and she and her brother will be able to live away from the organization and receive a million dollars to start a new life. Her target is a multi-billionaire named Geniere Arthur Falcon, who has been trying to uncover the organization and put a stop to its criminal activities. Maxene's task, however, was not going to be as easy as her previous missions. She has to infiltrate the university to get close to her target’s children as a first step in her mission. As she enters the university, Maxene quickly gets to work, thinking of befriending the siblings, getting to know them, and earning their trust. Ridger, Geniere's eldest son, appeared to be the most cautious, making it difficult for her to gain his trust. However, things start to get complicated when instead of gaining just his trust, they started to develop something more than just what her mission requires.
Maxene's story is a gripping tale of love, family, and sacrifices. She would have to make tough choices, and the consequences of these actions would reverberate for a long time to come. It is up to her to decide what truly matters and who’s more important in her life. Would it be her and her brother’s freedom with a chance to live a brand-new life, or would it be the newfound family and relationships she has made, but with the risk of being discovered?

This is my honest review of the story as to why I rated this five stars 1. First the writing quality is good! The narration is not boring. There are just minimal typographical errors that can be easily edited. It is written well! 2. Stability of updates - Very good! The author updates every day! 3. Story development - The story progresses well. Every chapter is not boring because you'd always have something to look forward to. And at the end of it, you'd be thrilled to read the next. It would keep you hooked up and look forward to the next update. 4. The character design is EXCELLENT. The author took time to design each character's personality so that you'd be able to recognize each of them. For example, the MC has this strong personality that allows her to survive in the kind of life she has. The ML is obviously a MAJOR GREEN FLAG. Meanwhile, the side characters have the personality that supports the MC well. 5. World Background, although common, is well thought off. It is very refreshing to see how the author connected a college romance to the assassination/action genre. It is not plain and boring.
The plot is well written, the characters are well written, the plot is good and the interaction of the characters, let's see what happens next :)
pretty good book to read but I just got one thing to say I can tell if you wanted it like this but it almost feels like you synopsis reveals your entire story before anyone reads it bit keep up the good work
The story's narration is quite nice, however, I was curious about the backstory of the main character and her brother, particularly how they ended up working for that group. In addition, there is the mystery of "A," who is more intelligent than he appears to be and has connections that would allow him to learn anything about FL, even if she were to leave the organization. Anyway, I'd love to read this. There aren't many chapters, but they're well-written and vivid. The most difficult mission Maxene has ever had is to infiltrate the life of a billionaire. Maxene is a brilliant assassin.
In contrast to other works, the opening chapters are good and not at all dull. It's not wordy, and the narrative of the novel is intriguing! I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next when the FL finally meets the ML. This is shaping out to be a fantastic novel!
This is really a good story though this isn't my type of book, i only read at chapter 8, it is highly recommend to others and i hope you continue your story thank you

The story is really interesting. The writing is so good, although there might be a typo in here and there. It doesn't make the experience reading the story difficult to understand. The character Raven, I really like her. I didn't saw romance tag but instead forbidden love? Does she fall in love with her target?? Let's see.. Overall the story is so good.. I hope more people will give it try to read this🍀
The story progresses really smoothly and the characters, especially the ML is very well-written like FR. Similarly, I like the MC as well, I especially love strong leads. The writing style is also good! I'll be waiting for more <3

Very nice! Reminds me of the gist of spy x family but it's assassination time now! Like the progression with the school drama, can't wait to see how it will develop and who will get shot in the face next (JK).

the Narrative of the story is pretty good, if i say, i wanted to know about her past and her brother, like how did they end up in that organisation. while also the mystery of 'A', he is more smarter than he smees, and his connection, i can tell with those he can get anything about to know about FL, even if she leaves the organisation. anyways i would love to read this, the chapters are very few, but the vivid discription is good.
