In my personal opinion this starts off as a very original satire. It's parody of a very popular genre. This time we don't have a typical OP hero. Instead we get to see main character, who isn't prepared for a world to change into video game. Reality can be brutal and it's nice to see something fresh (like vegetables ;)) in this game=reality theme. I'm getting a bit of Gintama vibes. I hope it will continue in this direction.
