Full of cliches. Characters dumb simpy for the sake of being dumb. Woman are considered 'elonquent, brave and shameless' for merely intervening in the middle of an argument between 2 man regarding the purchase of drops...

Let's begin with concept. Guy dies and is regressed years back to the launch of a video game. Stock standard with no twists so a 1 from me. Now more into the specifics, it is a guy who was formerly a gold farmer for a group. Again it's stock standard and works, 1. Now here is where we get into the negatives, xp makes no sense. It takes 5000 xp to level up to lvl 1, monster respawns are every 15 mins, you get 10xp for a lvl 1 mob, fields are so packed with players there are 5 people per square meter. It would take someone 2 hours to level up if they were able to kill a mob every 15 mins. People are lvl 4 or higher within 1 day. Sure you could say funneling or killing higher level, but it is stated that a lvl 0 can't kill a lvl 3 mob. Were also not talking about a couple of people at this level either, there are guild teams running a dungeon. Next on the list is item drops, it is stated that they lowered drops to keep items from depreciating. Still the core concept of a MMO is item drops. The item drops are so rare that most people won't get item drops and will need to buy from vendors or crafters. Next is mana, it takes 10 minutes to go from 0 to full mana. Potions are not sold in starting areas. The only way to regen quickly is food cooked by a single recipe, which is still slow. This leads me to my next point bosses, again a core concept in MMOs. A lvl 5 field boss can kill a on level tank in 3 hits, sure you could say this is normal if it isn't for my previous point, how can healers keep up healing without mp. Next is time, it is stated several times that it takes him multiple hours to kill mobs and bosses that are 3 lvls higher than him, most of this is due to the mana issue. Also the day night cycle is weird and is just a fictional concept thrown around, only changing when needed. Next is the "free mode", sure concept is fine but execution is poor. It makes a 5s spell able to be casted in .7s, not only that but it is stated that most "ordinary" players can't use free mode because it is so difficult. Next is the "realism", take that word with the biggest pile of salt you can think of. The biggest issue was about bow users, there is a "blind spot" on bows that if an enemy gets close enough you can't shoot an arrow but is too far from you to hit them with the bow itself. Also I'll throw the bugs in on this sections, the bugs are just using terrain as an advantage and calling it a bug because enemy AI sucks. Now let me reiterate everything. It takes hours to go from level 0 to 1, staring zones are so crowded you might not be able to kill a mob, drops are so rare that you have to buy items, bosses so strong you can't kill them, skill gap so large you can't fight pros. Why is this, a game produced by the top nations, popular enough that billions play it?So turn off your brain and enjoy some poorly translated cookie cutter regressed MC play a video game.

honestly could be worse, I've read until chapter 21. The video game aspect seems good however it is nothing special. The character designs are cliche like the past life ex guild female being full of eloquence when she told another player to "stop bullying her. The ability info could also be better written. I did quite enjoy the defensive actions he took when going to his buddy's old bungalow. Spoiler... I was surprised when he took the knife to the bully and threatened him on the consequences of any future retaliation, honestly though if he does retaliate in the future I drop the book to a 2-3 star .
