"What is your last wish, Magnus Dalisay?"
Magnus Dalisay was strapped on an electric chair. He calmly gazed back at the person who asked him that question. It was the jail officer, and he stared at him without feeling any remorse or pity.
"I want to cherish life the next time," Magnus replied and closed his eyes.
As a death row inmate, he had long come to terms with his eventual death. His regrets were too many for him to count, and his dreams were too far for him to reach. This was the final chapter of his life.
"Next time? Hah! God will send you to hell!"
The jail officer's face crumpled with hatred. He nodded at the electric chair operators, and they activated the chair by turning some nobs and flicking switches.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
A searing pain spread through Magnus' whole body. His brain, heart, vital organs, and flesh were cooked from the inside out.
Magnus felt his life being taken away from him. He let out a small grin at the irony of the jail officer's words. Would he not be sent to hell, too, for killing him?
After that last thought, everything went dark.

After an unknown amount of time, the pain suddenly disappeared, and Magnus opened his eyes, confused. He found himself sitting in the middle of a small and dark room. The air was dry, and sand was everywhere.
Magnus found himself free from the straps of the electric chair. Instead, he was now sitting down on a worn-down wooden chair. He sluggishly stood up and opened the door.
"...Where in hell am I?"
Magnus stared at the dim sky covered with dust and at the swirling little tornadoes of sand everywhere. He was in a desert town, which was completely different from where he got executed.

That maid in the title should be all you need to read to read this novel (cause culture ahem). Hopefully, we will get a few sm- On to the actual review. I have pre-read this novel a few times and now I can confidently say that it will be one heck of a ride for you. It's not a completely out-of-the-world idea but it will definitely make you think about the novel a bit. The characters will get you attached and hooked so I hope you enjoy their interactions and mysteries as I do. Good luck, Yun-Sama
Honest review as a prereader: In my opinion, the concept this novel is built on isn’t necessarily new. It could even be called a twist on the classic Romeo and Juliet style love story. However, the story perfectly compliments the author’s niche and allows his writing capabilities to shine through. Each chapter pulls you to the next one in an inescapable loop and truly makes you interested in wanting to know more. The main character has depth to him and a backstory that doesn’t necessarily align with what you’d expect from an mc in this story type. The cruel world that he’s forcefully introduced to takes a burden on his psyche and it’s interesting to see how he copes with it. Other than these few points, there isn’t much I can say since there aren’t many chaps available (and weren’t when I was given the chance to read it). Still, I can say with certainty that I’m excited to see how this novel progresses and will follow its growth closely. To a certain Daoist unsuccessfully attempting to reach Sainthood:

I couldn't help but laugh at thy wicked titles, though the mighty sword down there inside my pants persuade me to read tho all of this novel! I, the known mighty immoral— Immortal Grand Dog was forced to read such a despicable story! — Joke aside, I like the story but I like the author more 😗 ...
My review will follow Webnovel's 5 part reviewing guidelines. Writing Quality: Stellar. I didn't see a single error, and the writing flows well. Stability of Updates: Unknown, but I believe Yun will keep them consistent! Story Development: I really don't know where this book is going to go. As of chapter 11, Magnus hasn't locked himself down any one path. Whatever happens next will likely surprise me, in a good way. I can't wait to read more. Character Design: On one hand, I really like Magnus's character. How he acts does make sense. On the other hand... I'm a sucker for wholesome romances. I like that he isn't your typical go-get-um protag, but I was so excited to read some wholesome stuff... then chapter 10 happened. Oh well. World Background: Seems like it's been planned out well. Clans, Solar magic, and some screwed up morals. Reading future developments will be exciting!
Just the title alone is interesting and I'm expecting lots of incredible moments in this one. The book may lack chaps as of the moment, making the world background and story progression somewhat unclear, but I'm confident enough to say that this book will end up great, considering the author's skill with his craft. All in all, there is one thing I can say for certain. If you have eyes, then this novel is for you! Wait, what are you doing here, still stuck on the review page? Are you lost or something? Interested? This novel will tackle the problem of male and female equality in the present world but done in a Fantasy world. What is right? What is wrong? Hopefully, I will be able to give each side their best take. I have been preparing this novel for about 10 months. This has been rewritten multiple times and the plot has changed a lot.
