Chapter 47: Test - 2

The necromancer who was standing safely on the island nearby suddenly opened his eyes. He was meditating to gather mana when he felt the mana bolt strike his formation.

In panic, he jumped to his feet and gazed at the center of the sea where the fog formation stood.

"That!" He exclaimed as he peered into what was happening inside.

"What is that?" He asked aloud in utter disbelief.

Anyway you look at it, that was a mana bolt. However, the power it exuded went beyond what a mana bolt could have.

"Why?" He asked in desperation.

However, the hundreds of villagers caught in his mind manipulation magic couldn't possibly answer him. They stared at the necromancer silently as he panicked.

"I need to stop it." 

Realising that the fog formation was about to disappear, the necromancer decided to act.

Who, Why, What—these questions could wait.
