Synopsis
Simon was a 13-year-old orphan who had been through a lot and had seen how cruel the world could be at a young age.
In the view of others, he was never normal; he possessed incredible strength and a keen sense of combat, but it was his hidden ability that mostly terrified those around him.
He is a foul-tempered young child who battles to survive in a location known as "The Underground," in which the impoverished and filthy live under odd rules.
He was able to flee the dreadful environment he used to live in and ended up working as a guard for the viscount on the surface.
As time passes, things become much more difficult for him; problems and stumbling blocks, as well as a slew of other tough challenges, appear.
He has an underlying fire that never fades away, a spark that is fed by anger and passion, a flame that has unleashed his true power.
This is the tale of Simon's journey from an underworld rogue to a famed fighter. (Isn't it typical?) The route wasn't simple; deaths, wars, catastrophes, assassinations, and other misfortunes awaited him.
Read on to find out if Simon will be strong enough to overcome all of this or if he will meet a terrible fate.

I've been keeping up with 'Simon Says' for a while now and I think its about time to I got to express how much improvement this story has foregone. First of all, the characters had started off with an interesting but a rather typically immature introduction. However, their development is evident and impressive, especially in the last ten chapters. I would also like to point out that the steady world building really gave the sense needed the plot alongside the beautiful descriptive ramblings (can you tell it's my weakness lol). The story is still in its early stages so it's definitely not easy to judge on the storyline as a whole and the pacing. The general impression is that it is slow but nevertheless engaging. Now, my favorite thing about this work has to be the humor, for some reason the two best friends and their everlasting bickering always makes my day. It worthy to mentions that both the dialouges and monologs are extremely entertaining and certainly tickle my funny bone. Lastly, I'd like to thank the author for investing their valuable time and efforts to write this wonderful story. Furthermore, I sincerely hope that this work gets all the love and acknowledgement it deserves. Keep it up! Your loyal reader, Ru.

Author review As a result, this will be a long-running narrative with well over a hundred chapters. It will begin slowly to allow for the development of the characters, then pick up speed as the plot unfolds. The Mc is not a very rational person, so he will make mistakes, some of which may be foolish, but everyone is dumb at some point, right? However, he will mature, and mistakes from his side will be rare in later phases. There will be many tragedies, so be prepared for a rocky trip. There will be no romance or anything like that since there isn't time for it, and poor Mc doesn't have the chance even if he wanted. In terms of writing quality, it has certain issues like misspelling and grammatical errors, but if you can overlook them, it's a decent writing style that will undoubtedly improve over time. And I'll leave the other issues for you to point out because there may be things that I'm missing even after reading it ten times. Lastly, the updates are a little irregular because I'm a busy student, so I won't commit to a specific time because failing to update by that time will make me feel guilty, so no guarantees~, but I'll try to upload as soon as possible.
