Chapter 11: Horse
After I placed my clothes on the Closet. I decided to take a shower first before I went out of my Room. Going out, I saw Calvin's familiar feature on my living room.
He was comfortably sitting in the sofa while he was reading a magazine. He was wearing a Black Cargo Shorts and a Plain Gray Shirts.
Seems like he didn't even noticed me so I just shrugged.
I sit on the Couch facing the Tv and on it. I was still charging my Laptop and my Phone was off and it was kinda boring. I only have few apps there but it was all a novel apps.
I don't even have a game so it was yeah, a bit boring. Though novels were entertaining me sometimes but I don't read it usually.
"Hey!" I glanced at Calvin who was now looking at me and faced the TV again. I thought he's having his own world huh?
"Yeah? I'm surprised you even noticed me."
"Of course." He put the Magazine beside him as he turned to me. "You don't have a plan to swim?"
"We just arrived Calvin." I furrowed my brows. "Can you let me rest for awhile? In fact, I didn't come here to Swim along the Sun. I'm vacationing okay?" I rolled my eyes.
"Isn't it part of a Vacation?" I looked at him. "Swimming, I mean." he smiled.
"If that's how you define Vacation so okay. But I have my own definition so shut up and let me just mind my own biz."
"Okay, If you say so."
Silence filled us. I can feel his eyes on me sometimes with the help of my peripheral vision but I intend to ignore him. Though, I still can't deny the awkwardness between the two of us.
As much as I wanted to broke the silence. I don't wanted to be the one to start a conversation. I just don't feel it and I'm not used to it because wherever we're together. He was the one who always start a conversation.
"I already called someone who can deliver us a food for our lunch." He informed so I look at him. His eyes was on the TV that was currently showing an Advertisement.
"Why do you have to? I can cook for us." I said so he turned to me and gave me his sweet smiled. I almost jump and that feeling was so weird.
He took the throw pillow beside him and hugged it tight as if he was cold.
"You can still cook even if we already have a food. If you insist, I wanted to taste your cook anyway."
"Yeah?"
"Uh-huh. You didn't invite me for a Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner with you when I'm in your House. You always even throw me away as if I'm a virus." He laughed with no humor.
I look away and sighed. I don't know that I did that. I'm not really aware. I can imagine what he feels when I'll throw him away like he's not very welcome to my house.
Oh well, He's not really at first of course because we're not in good terms right? Who's crazy would welcome her enemy on his very own home? Literally, No one!
But then I'm a good heart that I can't resist him when I saw him outdoor, knocking.
"You're really cold then Allyssa. You're hurting me."
I looked at him. He was smiling yet I'm sure he was not teasing me or what. I'm very sure that he was authentically serious.
"I'm sorry." I looked away
He did not respond so I sighed again and looked at him. He was just staring at me like I did something unforgettable and it was very rare that he have to witness it.
"Why are you staring me like that? Is there some mess in my face?"
"No, It's just that." He paused as he stared at me again and I'm starting to feel concious. What do he think he's doing?
"You were sorry."
"Why? Can't I say that word?"
"Of course not. I mean, Yes of course you can say it. But of course you can't stop me from being surprised because you were always rude. I just can't imagine."
"Excuse me Calvin Mendocino? Are you saying that I'm that bad?" My eyes narrowed when he just laughed as he shook his head.
"No. You're not really." He stood up while I remain sitting when he turned to me and offered his hands. I look at it and him before I put my hands on his.
"Let's go outside? I'll tour you in our Resort. It was so boring here and I bet you also felt the boredom in the environment."
"Yes really. Anyway, Do you have horses here?"
He laughed with my question so I raised my brows and put my two hands on my waist. What's so funny?
"Ally, This is a Resort. Not a Riding Club."
"I was just asking okay? You don't have to laugh as if I'm a clown."
I walked out while clenching my fist in irritation. I already promised myself to be good at him but I can't help it if he's always like that. Laughing at me like I was his laughstock toy.
Argh! So annoying.
"Wait." He slung his hands on my shoulder so I glared at him.
"Don't touch me if you don't want my fist to land on your precious face again." I warned so he cleared his throat before removing his hands on my shoulder.
Good.
"I'm sorry for laughing at you earlier. I just can't help being amused with you."
I paused walking and looked at him so he stop walking too and faced me while smiling. And I wanted to faint so bad because his smile can really make every girls panty drop.
And I admit that I was not an exception.
"If you want an amusement. Then you go to the Amusement Park and ride different rides that you want that will make you laugh to the core. I don't care, Just don't make me your amusement."
"Look, I'm really sorry if I made you feel bad earlier."
"It's good that you know that. I thought you only heed laughing since you don't seem to care how I feel if you laugh at me" I said, my tone were offended so he bowed his head.
"Ally, I'm sorry. Okay, If you wanted a horse. I can buy one for you just please don't be mad at me."
My face lit up at what he said that I automatically turned to him so a warm smiled plastered on his face.
"Really, huh? Promise you'll do that?" I could see how his eyes twinkled. And, his smile widened even more so I couldn't help but to smile as well.
He is really very handsome when he smile so I won't be surprised one day if he just smiled at me then I will melt away like an ice cream and my annoyance and anger with him will disappear immediately.
That's his effect.
"Of course, No matter how many more you want. Just name the horse's type, prize, color and etc. And I will buy it right now."
