Chapter 13: Your eyes were too Precious
The day went so fast that I didn't even realized that it was already the fourth day since I'm with Calvin in the Mendocino's Paradise for my Vacation. Time was really running quickly.
"You're spacing out again."
I looked at who suddenly talk beside me. I was in the Terrace of our Suit and sipping my coffee, enjoying the view at my sight. I can barely feel the summer because of the warm breeze of the wind.
"What are you doing here? I thought you were reading some documents that your secretary recently sent you?" He was the Manager of their line. Just like his other cousin that was also taking business according to him.
They were all working hard to achieve the promotion on their own way and I was so proud of him when he told me that he would rather start as the most lowest employee than to reach the top that easy just because his father was on the high position and the member in the Board of Directors.
"Yeah, I just finished it." He also sipped his coffee as he sat the made from abaca chair. I was on the swing and in front of us was also the made from abaca Center table.
We stayed quite while contentedly looking at the front view that I didn't even know that I fell asleep because of the relaxing place and the beautiful ambience of the place added by the warm feels of the winds breeze.
I was still in conscious when I felt someone touched my hair and the next thing happened was when my body risen up but I was too sleepy to care so I let that someone who was securing me in his arms now bring me to bed before finally wandering in the Dreamland.
I woke up when I feel someone's watching me. I didn't open my eyes yet until my senses were fully awake.
"Your dream must be very beautiful."
I looked up at the speaker... It was him
"Calvin."
"Good Evening Lady."
"Evening?" I automatically get up. It was already Evening? Oh my, How can I sleep that long?
"Yeah, You sleep for almost 5 hours."
"That long?" my eyes widened.
"Hmm."
"Why didn't you wake me up?" I snouted. He laughed softly that made me stiffened.
His laughter that always filled me with unexplained feelings!
"Because I enjoyed watching you."
"W-what?"
He just smiled then he helped me get up but I pushed him away that made him look at with me confusion. I bowed my head as I closed my eyes tight.
I just woke up! Maybe I still smell sour saliva or maybe I look like a ghost! It's annoying because it's Calvin. He didn't wake me up because he said he wanted to watch me.
I think that gorilla has gone crazy.
"G-go away first. I'll just get dressed."
"You're uncomfortable." He said as if he was pretty sure. I looked up at him and looked at him wickedly. His arms were crossed while looking and smiling at me.
Like I don’t look like an exploded cooked here. But the last time I checked, I wasn't too bad when I just woke up. That's just still annoying.
"Excuse me? Of course not!" I denied and took a comb. I went to the front of the dresser and combed. I was about to go to the Bathroom to take a shower when I saw him still watching me.
I looked at him and threw the quelch I picked up. He just laughed and avoided it and it looks like he has no plans to leave yet because the unlucky was still sitting on my bed.
Annoyed I went with him.
"What? Leave my Room cuz I'm just going to take a shower and get dressed!" I'm yelled in irritation.
"Why? You're already beautiful."
I was stunned by what he said. I stared at him for a while now that he was just seriously watching and staring at me as if I was the only woman he had seen in his whole life. as if he was just only look a woman once and it was just me.
My heartbeat doubled as we stared at each other. It was as if I wanted to faint suddenly with the strength of my heartbeat. I just felt it now so I was nervous. But why is it that my heart just works like this every time he is in front of me.
I didn't realize that I was so overwhelmed with thoughts that I didn't realize that I was staring at him too much. If he hadn't patted my forehead, I might still be staring at him.
"Aww you're really are sadistic!" I looked at him badly as I caressed my forehead which he pressed.
"That's too much for staring at my face. You might make me melt."
My eyes widened at what he said so he burst out laughing. My cheeks grew hot with embarrassment. And to cover up that embarrassment, I kicked him and pretended that I was disgusted with him.
"Who's staring? You're really a feeling!"
"Don't deny it so much Sweetheart. I saw you."
"What?! You're really annoying. Get out of my room!" I slapped his arm when he laughed again but only my hand only gets hurt.
Shit! The guy has a muscles!
And it was not even obvious!
"Get Out!"
"Yeah. Yeah. You are too sadistic." he laughed again so I get pissed even more.
"I said. Get out!"
He just laughed before standing up and walking away but before that, he came back first and approached me. I automatically backed away when he suddenly brought his face closer to mine.
A-and what is he gonna do?
"H-hey!"
"I just realized it now. Not all women look like a blast when they wake up."
"W-what are you s-saying? Stay away from me and g-get out!" I said stuttering due to nervousness. He just stared at me before he raised his hand and stroked my hair. I almost closed my eyes because of that very good feeling.
"Your eyes." he said almost a whisper and looked bat me in the eyes. He smiled a bit "They were too precious to be sad."
I was stunned by what he said. Why does he seem to know me so well? Is that so or am I just too easy to read?
He pinched a few strands of my hair that had escaped in my ear then he touched the count of my cheek and kissed me on the forehead. And I can't stop myself from closing my eyes.
This is strange. It's only now that I feel this way about Calvin.
"Get dressed. I'll just go out." he said goodbye and smiled before turning around. I just stared in shock at what he was doing until the door opened and closed and he disappeared from my sight.
I just stared at it for a while before I went into the bathroom and took a shower.
What was that all about?
