Chapter 324: You're Mine!

He raised his hand and gently caressed her face. However, he retracted it when his hand moved past her. 

"Adrik, where are you? I miss you so very much." A sadistic whisper from her flew into his ears and he raised his eyes, which held so much tenderness in them, to stare at her. "I'm here," he said to her, even though he knew she couldn't hear or see him. There was this deep feeling within him that he was feeling for her. He wants tp comfort and hugs her. He wants to caress her face and wipe off her tears to tell her that everything was fine and that she needn't cry. A half-smile formed on his lips and he gazed at her beautiful face, unable to take his eyes off. "She really is beautiful." 

He turned to Mirabel and said, and Mirabel nodded in agreement. "She really is."

"Can I touch her?" he asked, and Mirabel shook her head at him. "No, son. we are spirits," she clarified, and a pessimistic sigh exited his nose.
