Rowan waited with the others in the Hall of Logic while Lysander prepared for his installment ceremony, which would begin as soon as Nicasi and Wren returned from the inn. The Flame of Logic cast blue sparks in Lysander's eyes where it danced over its golden basin in front of him.

Somehow, he looked more composed than ever as he discussed the upcoming events with Alaric. Rowan, on the other hand, was starting to feel anything but composed.

He despised crowds, but right now, it wasn't just himself that he was worried about.

Once Lysander had officially accepted the Flame of Logic as his own, Alaric and the acolytes planned on informing the people about the poison and Ciprian's role in it. And while they wouldn't put Wren in the spotlight by identifying him directly, they had his permission to at least tell people that the so-called Prince of Illusions had never been their enemy.
