Really can't stand the mc, relies way too much on cheats yet acts like he's actually strong. Weakest mc I have read in awhile both in terms of personal power and character
So I have to say I have read and re-read this novel I love it that much the struggles, the passionate scenes, the romance, and some comedy, if this novel was sold as a book I would truly stop at nothing to purchase it! I am currently still reading the sequel "Against Heaven's Will" and I love it, I just wish the updates were more frequent!
Extremely boring. No excitement while reading. It just can't bring out the emotions. Story line is extremely simple. *NOT RECOMMENDED*

This book is amazing. I don’t know what else to say honestly. The MC is a little softhearted but that’s just the way he is, it’s a bit more realistic considering he came from Earth. All of the characters are unique and their interactions are entertaining. The action is really good, the development goes at a great pace, and lastly this author is the best at romance I have ever seen hands down. As a man I can admit without shame that some of the confessions in this novel made me tear up.
It is just a hidden gem ...even though R-rated but very nicely devloped characters and plot...read 2nd part also.. Xufeng and his wives ...
Couldn't find if I reviewed this or not, but the first time I read this I would have given it probably 4 stars, but after going back through parts here and there I have found so many holes in this story I that not even Flex Seal could stop a leak. You have MC who adjusts to the new world, then conveniently author makes him supposedly hold Earth values, then makes him act like a Man from that world. Examples are Women should be treated fairly and let them be them, then later he wants Nuwa to stay silent and let him handle everything like a good housewife in the kitchen... Then he also can't stand any men to even look at his women like he is from the Middle East and not Modern Japan... The MC keeps saying he will die for his women, yet he forgets that if he dies 2 of his women will die with him because he dies. He is so narrow minded that everytime he tries to act Heroic and Manly what he says and does just makes him look like a idiot.... Then you have the characters cultivation hops all over the place. During the 90 Chapter single day, MC levelup 4 times in one day. (Spirit Lord in the morning, then Overlord late morning level up #1, Somehow makes Emperor but not seen in the story #2, in the Evening he levels up twice hitting Saint stage then Sage stage). Then you have Jiao who when she first meets him she is probably Saint stage, maybe Sage, but in 2-3 weeks she makes it to Peak Monarch stage and ascends with a pill from her sister... I know the WN authors try to turn out chapters quickly, but there was so much stuff that was harped upon early that just fell to wayside. By chapter 300 or so the need to get Fate Fragments that Link harped on was dropped in exchange for getting Fate Stones. Author said this was a learning period on this story, but I haven't seen any improvement in the 2nd part of this story Against Heaven's Will. For me I like the ladies as their banter, and actions are what make the story for me, the MC is what ruins and drags down this story.

So far I am 100 chapters in and I love it. I was looking ahead and noticed that the chapters end at volume 3 and that there is only 1 chapter for volume 4. Did you stop writing? Regardless, great story so far, and I am looking forward to reading more!
would of been 5 star if you didn't ruin the main character like a teenager that can't say no really pathetic and a useless human its a shame really this storyline has been done a thousand times in different scenarios I feel cheated spending my coins and free passes on this book

Authors writing quality and story development is good, but there is this one single flaw that makes this novel so annoying to read, its about MC. Everytime there is a fight someone from his harem stands up to fight then get clapped and them he will go "I WILL KILL YOU" and let his other wifes beat the guy off, and make that annoying heroic speech. Truly one of the great novels on this, or any, web novel style site. Piokilek’s mastery of weaving a deep and meaningful story with well developed characters is a tribute to his abilities as an up and coming professional novelist. This was my first experience with his writing style, and I can state with confidence that each of his other novels are as well developed as this story. If you like harem novels with a great cast of characters, or are searching for a story with a developed plot and a steady flow, you should read this story about Xuefeng and his strong and beautiful women. The story grabs you and pulls your heartstrings from the very beginning.
