I love this story. Please never drop it. Also is it possible to you know, give the MC's Grimoire spirit a camera function so it not only records information of what it sees but also puts an image/picture of what it has scanned for the information, so people would know what they are looking for. Apart from the camera function, can you also put a projector and imprint function. For the projector function, its self explanatory, the MC can use it to show his allies or other people information that is not only stored in the grimoire but also being collected. For the imprint function, the MC will collect too much information, writing it all out by hand unto books and scrolls would get dull and boring way too fast. With the imprint function, he could make the grimoire imprint the knowledge on a page onto a surface, so the MC can directly put knowledge onto a book page by page without writing it all out. It will also save the MC time on drawing out the image they want there, or trying to accurately draw the image to the best of their abilities, only to partially or completely fail depending on if the MC has good drawing skills or not. With the imprint function, he can put the exact same image he took a picture of (with the picture function) onto a surface, These are just some ideas. Really good ideas for the grimoire spirit tool.
