Synopsis
"Jiang Fan, I regret it!"
When Xu Yining realized that the useless fiancé she would rather die than marry had taken her sister as his wife and transformed her into a powerful empress, she was filled with regret.
If she could do it all over again, she definitely wouldn't have petulantly let her sister marry in her stead!

Write a reviewOkay, first of all the story itself (or the synopsis) is kind of interesting. The power scaling is pretty balanced albeit some inconsistencies like the lifespan for each realm or something. Now, let's talk about the characters. Although the world building of the novel is interesting. The characters are built poorly, especially the MC, he's supposed to be portrayed as a cautious person, but only appears to be cowardly and sometimes make outrageous decisions. The author lacks the ability to show the potential of the novel and just basically throws in forced "dramas" and keeps introducing characters one after another. I've read until chapter 40 and the whole "marriage" issue is unbearable. The MC would resolve a problem and another one would pop up, the author doesn't even put a time for the MC's training. And if they do put one, they don't explain in more detail what the MC did, they just tell how the MC broke through a realm and that's it. I don't know if it gets good in later chapters but I'll give it a go and just put a more elaborate review after I catch up with the lastest chaps. Another thing, some item ranks are kind of confusing and inconsistent. Especially the Qi Cultivation Liquid which has "Top Grade" and "top-grade" quality. I mean what's the difference? The author doesn't even put a short note at the ending of each chapter to clarify the items, artifacts, and power rankings. Overall, it lacks the depth and logic. It has potential but unless the author learns how to properly bring out those potential it would remain as a low quality work. Not here to undermine them, but I hope with this comment they would put more effort in improving their work and not get discouraged. You're still doing a great job author but you need to put in a little bit more work. (Well they wouldn't follow any suggestions if they're writing this novel just to earn and not provide quality entertainment to the readers anyways.)
Great book, slightly repetitive sub-story line and realization of underestimating character, but entertaining. Wish it updated chapters faster :)
It's a generic xianxia with a decent world background and good translation quality. That would be enough to make a good read however for some reason the author decided to make every single character the most brain-**** human being imaginable. Every single goddamn chapter is just face-slapping after face-slapping to a ridiculous point. It's fine if an author decides to add a rich pampered entitled brat to face slap here and there but this novel is from start to finish only about that. Every single time the enemy underestimates the MC even when he demonstrates that he is better by a large margin that it's infuriating. Read it only if you want to read the fast food equivalent of light novels and be prepared to lose brain cells.
Smart lead, over drawn conversation, taking advantage of bad actions. Yes, i am still reading because it can hype to important battles.
Disappointed with the length of time it takes to update new chapters when I'm am willing to pay for coins to continue reading just kills the excitement and interest in this case
Reveal SpoilerFirst 300 chapter fine, but later chapter don't Deserve Invincible Title 😴😴😴😴😴😴💩💩💩💩, mc is beaten black and blue 🔵 pathetic
Reveal SpoilerVery interesting novel. It's a good read with a captivating story.line. I recommend this novel for anyone who wants to have a good read.
nice story development. Maybe not the smoothest transitions between chapters but it definitely can be followed without effort.
I love this story, but I think the only issue is translation and repetition issues every now and then
This story has a lot of potential but it’s impossible to get through a few dozen chapters because of how terribly cliche and badly written the characters and interactions are. Faceslapping is fine when sprinkled in and I’ve even read through whole novels that use it way too often but this takes it to an absolutely mind numbing degree.
at first I was very bothered by the glaring plot holes, but at some point I realized that this novel isn't about the plot but about the fun tone and the funny moments. Setting up the funny scenes often leads to plot holes, but as long as you can decisively look away, it's a very fun read. The translation is done by AI without any proofreading so there are some annoying inconsistencies and mistakes, but it's readable. after looking beyond the plot holes, my only grievance with the book is how MC has a wife since the first or second chapter but remains untainted
This was just a chinese novel, but in a different route on marriage xuanxia novel. but, if jin fan really wanted to gain resources. why don't he just reveal it? and even if he was mistreated, he could join another sect that wanted him so badly and leave the sect with his wives??
what do I say .. the work is refreshing . seeing the MC growing and developing through hard work and determination even relaying on luck sometimes ..Jiang Fan is a loyal and reliable partner to his fraternity and women without losing his goals .
Overall it's a good read. I like how there is no system and it's just the MC working hard, getting opportunities, the good old cultivation story. The lifespan evolution based on cultivation level is a bit weird compared to other novels (very low lifespan for people able to crush mountains), maybe translation issue or a choice from the author. One very big pain point is the forced drama to force the face-slapping tag... Like the MC being recognized by a senior as a talented person and juniors still saying BS like "I think the senior is wrong for acknowledging you". It decreases as we go but that was a big road block to continue reading for me.
