Chapter 136: Ling Quo

At midnight, fireflies started to gather outside the mansion. One after another, these tiny lights were dancing out of joy. Not long after, a dark figure appeared at the doorstep of the mansion. The dim lights from the fireflies were enough to show a silhouette of a man.

The statue on the staircase quickly formed a customary bow upon its arrival. Fireflies continued to gather as the figure pushed the door open and entered the mansion. One of the fireflies followed its movement until it stopped at the door where Ye Shin was sleeping.

"An ordinary human...?" the figure hummed at the darkness and the colorful curses on the air swayed gently by its voice. His voice was warm and soothing like a melody that lingered in the entire mansion.

The man went straight to the corridor and did not enter Ye Shin's door. The hallway seemed no end and the figure just vanished into the darkness.
