Chapter 85: ARC EIGHT:CH-8.5
Golden Nirvana could never forget that day! That certain day when he had lost to the fated villain standing before him right now. Back then, he had thought he had erased the memories of Mo Jung upon having his secret discovered by him, he thought he had rewritten the mistake that happened back then. It was a mistake on his part since he let his guard down thinking he had the characters of this world under his control until that day when he was sneak attacked by Mo Jung. That day when he was captured by this villain, he tasted humiliation for the first time. As the protector of this world he, golden Nirvana had the power to keep the wheels of fate in his control as well as this world's puppets. He never ever thought even in his dreams that he would ever be captured by one of those puppets, while being fooled by Mo Jung all the time, who sealed him in that illusion cave shortly after capturing him.
"I am going to have my revenge!" He yelled as he began to dash towards Mo Jung.
Mo Jung looked at him with disgusted eyes. Thrusting his sword forward he sprinted towards this annoying pest. This man who claimed himself as the protector of this world, who saw them as mere puppets existing just for the fulfillment of their destined fates while playing their roles according to the script of this small world, this man, this asshole, needed to learn his lesson. His eyes narrowed at his enemy as they clashed against each other.
Clang!
Clang!
In a few minutes already the fight between them had taken shift after shift, their attacks becoming more and more intense. Mo Jung was blown away by a heavy kick landing on his chest. When he stabilized himself he saw his enemy enclosing onto him from a short distance. Swinging his sword to the left, he circulated the spiritual power of his body onto the tip of his fingers. Then he bolted towards Golden Nirvana. He swung his sword at him. Clawing the fingers on his other hand into a blade shape he slashed it towards his enemy, stabbing his fingers forward with an intense acceleration.
Thuweck!!
Blood spattered from the place where the golden nirvana was stabbed. He glared at Mo Jung.
The two bolted towards each other, their eyes raging with killing intent.
BOOOOMMMMMM!!
The friction caused by their collision caused the ground to shake and shudder terribly. This alerted some people who felt the spiritual shockwaves blasting throughout the enitre sky.
"!!!" Zhen Yang stood up, staring at the place which was the centre of the spiritual explosion.
Several other sect leaders were also present with him at this time. They were all familiar with one of the spiritual shock waves reaching the vicinity of the place where they were gathered.
"Hurry!! Gather all the cultivators!!"
"Its him! We found him!!"
Clenching his hands tightly his eyes were raging with anger. "MO JUNG!" Zhen Yang uttered through gritted teeth.
Hundreds of cultivators immediately filled the expanse of the sky, all of them riding on their swords, flying towards that place.
Meanwhile back at the fighting arena the two individuals were fighting savagely, each of them aiming for the death of the other. They were unaware of the two pair of eyes watching them.
"Its funny how that golden nirvana doesn't realise that his role as the rule of this world was to remain sealed until the very last end of the story." Ivar couldn't help but remark watching the golden nirvana trying really hard to kill the villain. This guy had no idea that his role as the protector had deviated from how it was originally intended to be. That guy wasn't aware of the fact that in the orginal story he was sealed by Mo Jung very early in the story, which didn't change in this timeline either. But what changed was the fact that he was released from that place where he was sealed before the intended time, causing a chain of changes to follow in this timeline. In the orginal he broke through the seal at the very end of the story when Li Jei was heavily injured fighting Mo Jung, wounding the latter as well. The unsealed Nirvana restored the favour of fate onto the protagonists, lending them a help in defeating the villain. That's how it was supposed to be. But because of Ivar's intervention the original script deviated from its path taking a new turn.
"He doesn't even realise that his role as the protector of this world has shifted so drastically from the how it was intended to be, causing him to grow weaker." Ivar clicked his tongue watching the fight between the two continue.
Guang Wang Lei, who was standing by his side, couldn't help but agree. Most rule keepers are inteligent creatures, stubborn, adamant and prideful. However this golden nirvana before them was foolish as he seemed to be drowning in his lust for revenge against the person he was fighting.
"Humiliation is such a dangerous weapon." He chuckled saying so. The prime example of that saying was the protector of this world who was busy fighting at some distance away from them.
Both of them disappeared from that spot.
Huff..... "Tsk!!" Golden Nirvana couldn't help feel irritated because the villain was fiercely resisting him. To fulfill his role of setting the balance of this world to its right place he had to take care of this villain first.
"You have to die by the hand of the protagonist." He murmured to himself.
But....
He needed to get revenge on Mo Jung for the humiliation he gave him all the time when he was held captive by him, unable to do his job as the protector of this world. Right! Mo Jung, the villain shall die by the hands of the protagonist but before that he was going to beat the blood out of him.
"!!!"
The two people who were fighting suddenly dashed apart from each other. Both of them steered their eyes towards the same direction.
Their eyes went wide with shock when they saw two men approaching them, their body clad in a monstrous aura leaking from their soul, the magnitude of it so powerful that a shiver crept up their body down from their legs.
Mo Jung recognised one of those two. His eyes widened with horror, the confusion in them evidently showing on the surface.
"Y.....YYYOUUU...." He stuttered pointing towards Li Jei. Seeing his naked true self, Mo Jung was now sure that this was the reason behind that unsettling feeling he used to feel back when this guy surrendered himself to them several years ago. Back then he really couldn't catch the cause of that unsettling feeling sitting down at the bottom of his heart but now he understood that it was actually the sign of a calamity befalling him.
The mastermind? It was probably the son of fate standing before him, the male lead of this world, Li Jei. This person was the guy who have ruined all his plans! ALL! HIS! PLANS!
Golden Nirvana on the other hand was more relaxed. He have met them once already. Back then they left him alone under two conditions, which he had fulfilled already. So he wasn't afraid of them attacking him. Of Course he was wary of them but he was feeling more at ease knowing that he has completely fulfilled both the request of these two.
"Greetings." He said bowing to them slightly.
Ivar didn't even glance at him. He was looking at Mo Jung. This man....
Golden Nirvana widened his eyes when he saw Li Jei approach Mo Jung. The intention of his attitude was unknown to him since there was no killing intent directed on the villain from this person.
He saw the red haired man glance at him. The man's creepy eyes made his spine shiver with discomfort. He then saw the corner of that man's lips curve upwards. An unfathomable feeling arose in him.
Golden nirvana shifted his gaze towards Mo Jung and Li Jei. He saw the other person lean forward, whispering something into Mo Jung's ears. The subtle fluctuation in Mo Jung's eyes was suspicious in his eyes.
"!!" Mo Jung couldn't believe it. What did he just say to him? He then saw Li Jei make an expression that he have never seen on this face before, as this person repeated himself.
"There is another way to break through this world. Kill that guy First. Then destroy this world." Mo Jung heard this stranger whisper into his ears again.
This man is not Li Jei! He thought to himself.
"Who are you? And why are you telling me this?" Mo Jung could hear alarm bells ringing loudly in his mind. He was extremely wary of this stranger, who looked like Li Jei but wasn't him.
"Why bother?" Came a cold reply. "I just told you the way. If you want to do it then do it. If not, then don't."
"!!!" Mo Jung stared at him, not saying anything. His heart beat was accelerating nervously, thinking of the words he had heard just now.
Just then.
"What are you doing?" Golden Nirvana yelled at them. He looked nervous as he stared at Li Jei. His sixth sense were telling him that there was trouble coming for him. And this proved to be true when he saw Mo Jung's lips curving to an evil smirk.
He staggered, taking a step backward. "This isn't what you promised!!" He yelled at Li Jei. He did not hear what that man had told him but it was definitely something not good, for him, atleast, based on Mo Jung's reaction.
Ivar looked at him with cold, ruthless eyes. He didn't felt the need to explain himself to this protector. Letting him go didn't mean he promised this guy to not harm or attack him. Besides it was Mo Jung who was going to attack him, not Ivar. Given how similar the Villain's circumstances were to his old self there was no way Ivar could ignore this guy. If anything, he wouldn't go out of his way to help him ascend beyond this world but surely he could give him a helping hand in breaking through by destroying this world.
He walked over to his lover.
"Let's leave."
As soon as their bussiness was done the two disappeared from the place where they were standing.
Mo Jung, on the other hand, was ready to give it his all to kill the rule of this world who was standing before him and the protagonist of this world who was approaching him from behind. If killing them and destroying this world could help him go beyond then he shall give it his all, succeeding at any cost. Judging by that stranger's words the possibility seemed to be true.
His smirk grew wider and wider, his creepy eyes flashing with greed and blood thirst.
*Ding*
*Beep. Beep.*
When Ivar opened his eyes he found himself lying in a dark alley. He grimaced when he smelt a foul odour. The smell was coming from his clothes it seems. Ivar looked down at himself, his hands, his feet and his arms. They were so thin as if they would break anytime. His arms were covered in dirt. Upon touching his hair he found that even his head was covered in dust and dirt. The current body he was in was too thin, malnourished, weak and dirty. Using the cheats of the system he gave this body a makeover by cleaning the impurities of this body.
*Zingggg*
When he felt this sensation he knew that Guang Wang Lei has also entered this world. Relief washed over him upon knowing that his lover was here and he was surely coming for him the first thing after he enters this world.
Suddenly the sound of footsteps running on the floor echoed in the dark alley.
From some distance Ivar noticed a group of young teenagers running towards him. Their faces looked haggard as if they had not eaten a meal for several days.
One of them stared at Ivar, his eyes panicking with fear. Grabbing him by the hand the boy dragged Ivar along with him.
"Why are you not running? Didn't I told you earlier those smugglers might come for us today? Hurry run! If you don't want to be sold by them over and over again!!!"
Ivar was still gathering the information about this world. He ran through the data of this world as well as the identity of his body and these boys.
When he read it he couldn't help but with disgust.
"HURRY!" A group of men chasing them shouted loudly.
"Catch them! Catch every one of them!!!"
"Catch every single Omega! Don't let any of them escape!"
The kids started screaming, some of them began to sob as they sprinted for their life.
The boy who had grabbed Ivar stopped when he felt the other person pull away from him. He was shocked. "What are you doing? Hurry, let's go and hide!!" He tried to grab him forcefully in an attempt to drag him along but his friend's weak and thin arms were so strong that he couldn't even move them even by a bit.
Ivar turned to him. "Go." He said. "I cannot leave. He is coming for me."
The boy didn't understand a thing. He saw his friend pick up an iron rod. Then he saw him spring towards those adult men, attacking them brutally. He knew he had to run. If he is ever caught by those men his life will be worse then hell. But.....he couldn't do it. Because his best friend was currently fighting those adult men.
The loud whirling sound of helicopter filled the sky, a vast light flashing down onto the ground.
BOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!
Something heavy landed on the ground with a crashing sound with a loud bang.
Ivar smiled when he saw a wolf beast standing a few yards away from him. The beast had white fur. His eyes were a beautiful shade of purple.
"A Royal Alpha Beast!!" The men gasped when he saw a beast wolf emerge from the darkness. The mighty beast alpha has locked his eyes onto them. His eyes were radiating a horrendous blood thirst, the pheromones of am angry beast reaching them even from this distance.
What was a creature of such high standing doing here?
