Maya choked and sputtered on her drink getting herself into a coughing fit while I was quite startled but showed no other reaction other than that. I was expecting it anyway
Maya got herself after some moments "You! " She bellowed "That's no way to tal-" I dismissed Maya with a wave of my hand fixing my attention on my dear daughter .
"Why? " I asked exuding an authoritative aura with an arrogant smile tugging at a corner of my lips
Isabelle smiled back at me, a fierce determination to win this battle evident on her face "I need a motherly figure "
"And? "
"Girls just want their mom sometimes "
"And? "
"Need someone to talk boys stuff with"
"You can always discuss it with me" I blurted out without even realizing it and the reply I got was an awkward cough from Maya and a death stare from my daughter.
"Well, we can always compromise on that " I tried minimizing the damage done. Why does it all go south when it comes to boy's stuff?
Isabelle stood up abruptly and banged her hand hard against the table almost knocking some dishes over in the process "Just admit it!What makes you think you can be able to handle me in my rebellious teenage years? "
I wanted to reply when I heard Maya murmur beneath her breath "As if you aren't rebellious enough now? "
I smirked,she was definitely the perfect match for Isabella and I had the perfect plan in mind.
"So let's say I agree, who do you want for a mother? "I said throwing the ball in her court and hoping she'll make the right choice "Tina? or.....? "
Isabelle stared at me skeptically, obviously wondering if I was sincere or playing around. So I focused my intense and get down to business gaze on her and in a few moment, her lips twitch upward in a smirk , as if we were communicating telepathically, she said
"I want her" Isabelle announced pointing at an absent minded female entertaining herself with a grilled chicken and quite oblivious to what was going on. I smiled, Isabelle was surely my blood
"Fine by me "I agreed knowing just how much Isabelle values promises " I have to keep my own part of the deal then "
I excused myself before turning to discover the horror on Maya's face but that didn't stop me, instead I added more fuel to the fire

I love this story so far. The FL in this story is great and makes the story extremely entertaining. Trust me, won’t get bored. I can’t wait to read what happens next. I have my snacks ready for this show 😉 You have a new fan author 😘
This is such a good story that I'm emotionally invested in this and I hope it's going to last for a long time. If you like Romans the rage boy and the poor girl type of stories you will like this book so I really do recommend it for you.
The storyline is good! FL is funny and strong, having been ignored by her family all her life. She's not afraid to say what's on her mind, and she's not ashamed to admit her weakness. ML lacks trust, only uses women due to physical needs, never giving love. On their first encounter, FL becomes the nanny of ML's daughter because of a bid. Flow of the story gets reader's interest. There's no dull scene. Funny scenes are in every chapter, and pacing not boring.

By far one of the best novels I have read. Every character can have their own spin-off. 😄 Such an engaging story, could not put it down. The characters are so well written and so well flushed out, you know where they are coming from. I wanted to be far enough along to post this review, I’m on chapter 90. The Spencer’s are a mega rich fam. w/dark ties (sp?) and in comes the FL, who will bring a bit of light. Maya is a bit naive, sweet, dn 2 earth, kinda girl. She also has fam probs. However, she pushes fwd in life despite her hang ups. There’s ALOT of animosity, tension, and grudges among the Spencer family members. Can’t wait to read about the impact Maya will have on these ppl. 😁 A Must Read!!! Highly Recommend!!
Oh man, this novel has lots of madness and charms. What's more this got lots of options to choose. I wish I could be in the novel to find my fling🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

The progression of the story is very nice. I like the fact that Isabelle is stubborn though I can't stand stubborn kids, it makes the book interesting .
The story features strong Ml and Fl characters. They are madly in love with each other but they are either not aware of their feelings or pretend to be ignorant of the same. The narrative style is unique as it flows easily from one character to the other. Overall rating for me is 4.8

I have to admit, this book is unlike most other books in webnovel. The use of point of views makes it more easier to relate with the characters. There is little to no grammatical error that could distract your attention from the book. character development is superb and I strongly recommend to other readers out there
The story is different than cliche novels so far.How a person became player for a woman and again learned how to love because of a woman. The FL is funny, silly, but not a dumb one ML is a playboy and the matchmaker is his daughter. Interesting one. One should give a try.

I am totally so in to this book...i love maya's character and i dont think its fictional cause reality speaking her attitude is what others most likely be with her kind of situation...i mayself see some of my traits in her character and im so happy to stumble along this book along with Lia's story from ur other book author glimmy....DEYM! This one is highly recommended👌👌...if u guys are looking for a strong character of a female with a mix of innocence and soft hearted...a stong willed personality, with a hint of cleverness and a sharp argumentative tongue with a little kungfu(😂😂lol) on the side...then this the one. I enjoyed the read and im sure u'll gonna enjoy this too. I hope she changes the father-daughter for good...and bring in more buns nik💪👍😂
