Synopsis

Love can heal everything and changes ones view of themselves and the world. When you love the right person every heartbreak and see elf hate tends to fade away. This is the story of the female lead.
Nicely handled background storyy for the character I really liked it also the please add the settings more of a immerse for the readers but its romance so I felt touch of some chapters keep working in it!
Luo Lixi didn't deserve such cruelty visited on her, but the author writes a romantic Sleeping Beauty tale spent in the modern world and it's hard not to become engrossed in his story of waiting - yearning for the girl he wants to wake up.
I'm not that big of a fan of romance but decided to give this one a try. The story starts off really well, giving us a really good introduction to the main characters, which in this case are the siblings, butler, and then in the later chapters, Sheng Ruming and his clique of assistants. The author builds up the world exquisitely giving us information on the siblings, and on the reason why their relationship became askew. It starts off with an attempted murder which really hooks the reader in, making them ask 'why' itโd take place and what the future may or may not hold. Already, Iโm invested into the story. The author really well merges the existences in the story between these two main characters, one being the CEO of a prominent company, and the other being presumed dead. and describes how their encounter possibly will evolve into something else. It also keeps us on our heels, given that the antagonistic character is still active within the story. in conclusion the theme of the novel is one that depends on where you are in the story, it could ranges from a loving themeโ to a darker one real quick. I definitely recommend this novel for anybody who is looking for amazing world building, good array of characters and a continuous, beyond interesting plot! The only thing which I find a little bit lacking in the story is the lack of detail on the surroundings and on the characters within. It does gradually get better but having read the initial chapters without getting a good description of how they look like is a bit confusing. Still, do not let that deter you, it gets better! Well, from in the start- the author has chosen a theme of 'Betrayal' which actually helps to keep the readers engulfed in the corners of this extraordinary plot. The loops and cliffhangers are inversely proportional to each other, suggesting you will not be failed by the suspense covered by this plot- Overall, its a recommended one for the respective genre.

Rarely get so annoyed by a book, but only pure will got me through it. It has a nice start but it eventually felt like all the chapters I read where for nothing. Everything goes wrong, and the FL couldn't be more... "unlucky ", "pitiful", amd overall all bad things that could happen to her... End up happening to her, you really can't help but feel annoyed by it. While the ML makes you feel sorry for him, he has to go through so much, just to be with a shallow, immature and abussive partner, really makes you question if it's really love or they're just being stubborn for the sake of it. The whole book is a mess, filled with unfinished plotlines, half built, immature characters, massive plot holes, unfinished and lazy written explanations,etc. Felt like I was missing some vital info throughout the whole book, if I was missing something or needed to read another whole book to understand some of the characters backgrounds which was really annoying, not even sure if this is a series or a stand-alone because some characters which we only saw once were giving too many details on, which made the book give that unfinished feel to it. Basically, the whole book is just a story that did not end up happening, a whole flashback, where only the last 50 or so chapters matter, if you even make it that far. There is no redemption, no closure, not a real ending or beginning, a lot of not important things are explained, while some vital ones were not, some plots. were just dropped into the story without warning, only for you to feel angst for one chapter, before that whole plot is scrapped and were supposed to be ok with it and move on like they did not happen. I'm a fan of weak to strong, rebirth, mistery and a lot of things that the book has, but while you're reading it, you can only wish the author stuck to one and make a decent story out of it. I'm aware this is an old book, and maybe one of their first attempts at writing, which made me give it a shot and finish it all but, it was too much of a hasle for the little reward we got with the later chapters. Might browse the other books the author has, just to check if I can find the missing pieces from this book, some other reviews state that the author improved from this once so it might be worth a shot as overall the book had so much potential but be a real masterpiece.
