The anomaly

‘Fateless’, a book I re-read time and time again. Yet I never understood. In a world of magic and fantasy, the story follows the main character who lacks a future. Everyone else on the other hand is puppeteered by the strings of fate.

The irony is the one thing I never understood. A story called “fateless” yet the main character actually follows a string of fate as well. He follows the path the author wrote. The author knows this, he himself has acknowledged this. So why “fateless”?
