Synopsis
Terra is doomed.
The deities, in their pettiness, have cursed the fabric of existence. Death has become a mere gateway to unending cataclysm. The dead rose through their resting place, their minds sharp as a dagger, their souls, once brimming with sacred life, now empty and unyielding. Nations have crumbled, cities have been destroyed, life has been snuffed out, now misery remains.

I quite admire the fact that the MC was unwilling to compromise his ideals till the very end. It was also nice to see that the voice that spoke to him after his death didn't try to tell him off for sticking to his ideals and instead introduced a different outlook for him to consider. I believe this novel is going to be playing around with a lot of heavy concepts. The prologues foreshadow much of that behind the war scenes. I like the writing style. It suits the suspense that follows in such a story that will feature a lot of war settings, strategy and rigid characters who are out for blood, which brings to question if our MC will be compromised or if he will find room to grow within his own belief of integrity and honour in this next world. this is a beautifully crafter piece of sh- kidding hehe piece of art! well, it has its flaws like everything does. also, it starts off slow so when you first get into it, stick around til' chapter 10 and the rest would be fire. fantastic writing quality/story development/world background/character design and more ;> anyway, why am i even saying this? just read the story, fudge it. not the reviews.

I like the novel so far, but since it’s a kingdom building novel will mc have a wife and have a kid early on? I hope you implement stuff like that it could add to viewership. I like the military premise and haven’t seen one liek this in a long time! Keep it up!!
I like the idea behind it and can't wait to read it but, I'll do myself a favor(or not) and wait till it has ~150 or so chapters.

This novel refreshes the isekai genre by making the protagonist a seasoned general rather than a typical underdog. His strategic mindset and experience add depth, making the story more engaging than usual trope-filled adventures. With strong world-building and a unique premise, it’s a must-read for isekai fans. Highly recommended!
An intriguing beginning! There is a powerful contrast between the two stories of Quagmire's tragic past and the Emperor's arrival on Terra. I'm interested in seeing how these plots connect. Overall it is an exciting beginning to what promises to be a great story! Good luck Author.
A pretty good story not gonna lie. Not gonna lie, it's your typical isekai story, except that the author decided to breath some fresh air into the genre. The MC isn't a failure or incompetent random dude, but a successful and intelligent person, making his journey interesting to read. The novel starts slowly and it starts picking up between chapters 9-11. I would definitely recommend you to give it a try till those chapters and then judge it if it's worth your time!
Right from the beginning, the setting sets the story apart from the usual tropes. It’s not a random loser who got reincarnated/transmigrated, but an actual general. This greatly affects MC’s choices, which often come from a place of experience and wisdom rather than impulse or irrational knowledge. Other than that, this is the first zombie/base-building webnovel that I’ve ever read, so it makes for a fresh read, especially since my usual zombie fictions are more realistic without golden fingers. Another thing I love is how the author can depict the scenes quite vividly. Conversations don’t seem forced, which in turn creates an enjoyable pacing. I personally hate when scenes and dialogues are half-baked; it really takes away my immersion. There are also some sci-fi elements here, but not too much that they burden the readers with overly specific details. All in all, it’s quite an enjoyable read. Thanks, author!

Love this novel, just started it but Mc Is already quite likeable and I hope he can be able to protect his family(that’s if he has a wife or kids yet, hope he does!) is this going to be long novel or how long you planning on writing for? Keep it up!
I'll say its an interesting one that doesn't appear like most generic isekai stories, but imma keep reading to completely judge it. I give a 12/5 or 4.6
