Chapter 49: Heat

Landon screamed as the pain was becoming too much for him. He clutched his stomach feeling a rip in all of his bones and inner organs. He cried in pain and turned around on the ground.

He felt an arm around him before he was pulled out of the ground. He was in too much pain to open his eyes and check who it was that carried him. There were noises in the background, his ears heard only the cries of his pain.

Soon the whole surrounding went quiet. He felt his body lay down on a soft mattress. "I take back my orders. I don't wish for you to kill any sinner today," I heard next to my ear and the pain went away.

He got up from the bed and glanced around. His eyes came face to face with Sly, he gritted his teeth and glared at the make who put him through so much pain.

"What are you glaring at?" Sly asked him acting oblivious to him.

"Why did you bring me here. Did you need an opportunity to torture me in private?" he asked him.
