Synopsis

WARNING R18: Violence and Mature Content.

VOLUME ONE: The Beta’s Mate

I was minding my own business, shooting arrows mindlessly at the target. When he came out into the clearing. A huge, beautiful, silver wolf. Next thing I knew he was on the ground in front of me, an arrow sticking out of his chest.

He was minding his own business, scouting, when he caught her scent. His mate. His wolf started running before he could think, but he was just as ecstatic. He slowed as he reached the edge of the forest, and he saw her. She was beautiful. He moved forward and the next thing he knew there was an arrow sticking out of his chest.

VOLUME TWO: Given to the Hunter

I looked at the tall man and he stared back at me with the same hollow eyes.
I wanted nothing to do with him and I’m sure he wanted nothing to do with me.
“Go on.” A voice spoke.
I closed my eyes and took the man’s large hand.

He stared at the small woman in front of him, her dark eyes stared back at him, hollowly. He wished he could go back in time so that he would never have to experience this, but it was too late. He was here, and he was being forced to take this woman.
He shoved his hand out for her to grab and her small hand reached out to it.

This is an original work not translated.

This is my plan for the series so far:
Vol. 1: The Beta’s Mate
Has cute romantic moments, steamy moments, intense moments with the bad guys.

Vol. 2: Given to the Hunter
Has sad moments with cute moments and healing. Mystery.

Vol. 3: The Consuming Darkness
Innocent romance between darkness and softness.

Vol. 4: TBD
Vol. 5: TBD

Vol. 6: Charmed by Lightning
This is a prequel to the previous books, not necessary to read but it does explain some things.

WARNING: This is Author's first book. If you like it, give Hydrangea of Crescent a try.

At first, I only intended to read the first few chapters to write a fair review, but I just couldn't stop reading! This novel has an interesting twist on the very cliché lycanthrope-human romance story trope. The love interest is a beta instead of an alpha/top of the pack or omega/bottom of the pack. The female lead has relatable concerns. As a character she's a bit weak, but with potential for growth. I honestly prefer the male lead much more. He is so cute when he's possessive and worried over our female lead. Yet, he doesn't go absolutely crazy. He tries to respect the female lead's will. The story is fairly fast paced and there's never a dull moment. The first few chapters were a bit confusing (why were our leads so trusting?) but that is quickly explained (Not going to spoil how, so read to find out!). The author has a more detail oriented writing style, which some readers may not like. The world background is developing nicely (though a bit wordy at times). While the updates are fairly regular, the author has a tendency for run-ons and long sentences which can become monotonous. I would recommend chopping up the run-on sentences and varying sentence length. This would help make actually reading flow better.

I love this book and it deserves so much more recognition. The story has something special that balances the action/drama and the serene moments between characters which makes me come back every day to read a new chapter. Which is very rare for me bc I get bored easily with anything. The characters are lovable and their interactions feel so real. I like the FL, she's inteligent and loving and just a good person in general. The writing is good - that's always a plus. The plot is still unfolding, but even now, it's really interesting and I look forward to more chapters.💕

This is a really good read and I enjoy it immensely. I literally had trouble putting the book done and I kept finding myself being pulled into the next chapter wanting to know what was gonna happen next. Keep up the great work, I can’t wait to continue reading to see what happens with Brooke and Jame’s.

Amazing. That’s the first thing’s the first thing that came to mind when reading those first couple chapters. The author writes remarkable physical and emotional descriptions. To be honest, for anyone else reading this, if you want a main take away, just know the Author doesn’t miss with descriptions. I also love how the plot moves along. I won’t spoil much but when you hear about the initial conflict, it’s raises a lot of questions. And that’s what makes it an amazing build-up. Overall, a great read. Great work Author.
