Lenny Mae is a seventeen year old girl who has no interest in anything but painting. During the summer holidays, her mom sends her over to take care for her grandmother, who has Alzheimer's disease. Lenny is a bit thrilled, seeing as she'll get some alone time, but nothing turns out the way she expects.
Unspeakable horrors unfold before Lenny's eyes and she managed to escape her grandmother's house with her life...and a strange book.
