The disappearance of the moon

"Let's play a game mon petite tigre" he rasped from behind me close to my ear breath tickling my earlobe sending a shiver down my spine. "What game?" I breathed my voice barely a whisper.

I couldn't see his face but I knew his face had morphed into that panty dropping smirk that makes me want to punch him in the face but also makes me swoon. Wrapping his thick arms around my waist to make sure I don't run off maybe "it's called find the secret, whoever their secret is discovered first loses and gets to owe the other a favor " .

"What makes you think I have secrets am an open book" I replied. He turned me around to come face to face with him causing me to tip my chin up to meet his eyes " I have met a lot of people in life kitten and I know a mystery when I see one" he replied dropping the baritone of his voice an octave at the ending, his tone of voice the kind that would make you say yes to anything just to hear him continue to speak.

"What kind of favour " I ask still very much aware of his arm still wrapped around me "anything " he said coolly, that eight letter word made my stomach flutter and my heart try to bounce out of my chest with how hard it was beating "and besides mon petite tigre if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to lose or are you scared " he, purred shaking my head and steeling my resolve I replied "sure why not" I whispered my lips dangerously close to his and immediately the door banged shut behind me like the hitting of the hammer by the judge indicating the verbal contract we had made.

The shutting door indicated that someone had seen us like this, and from afar it looked like two lovers meeting in secret which would not help the rumors circulating at all ,but I couldn't bring myself to care because I feel like I just made a deal with the devil.


What have I done ? , I stared up at him with wide eyes unable to hide my fear at the realization of what had happened, but the mischievous glint in his eyes is that of one with an accomplished mission and that's all it took for my blood to run cold...
