I was a fan of the old novel as well. And I read this novel till chapter 201 so far and really liked it as it is a big improvement. This novel isn't perfect but I really liked it. Firstly, the writing quality is top notch. No spelling mistakes, no grammatical mistakes and I personally like it a lot. This blends into combat scenes that are also written very well. It isn't anything revolutionary but the battle scenes are amazing. Secondly, character design. The character design is realistic, though of course slightly fantastical, and just super well done. I did think that some of the girls didn't make much sense to fall for the MC, but after reading more I trust that the author will tie it all in very well. Thirdly, the world background is very interesting and there is a lot of stuff and lore to explore. It is just a very immersive and interesting world I want to read more about. Finally, really good update stability. Now, one of the things I did not like as much about the novel was that the pace was a bit off. It slowed down quite a lot compared to the previous novel which I thought was nice, but at the same time, it felt fast. Just not a big fan of the pacing imo, but everything else is well done. Minor spoilers below: Finally, an MC that isn't an edgelord killing people for fun or having no emotions. This new MC is a breath of fresh air in this platform that I really love. Not only that, he is a very smart MC who is capable of playing high level mind games that I enjoy. I think that the thing author does with hiding MC's thoughts can be annoying, especially when it came to one of the female lead's, cause its hard to understand the MC's true thoughts, but I still loved it. The MC in this novel is a big upgrade. Overall rating: around 8.5-9/10 so far in my opinion. I don't read much on this platform but I loved reading this novel.

The writing quality have gone from good in earlier chapter to absolute shit in latest chapters it's like you have to put effort and re reading to confirm what is being said where a line can be written straightforwardly it's being written in a needlesly complex way they are not even sentences at this point just a chaotic amalgamation of phrases put together foe readers to decipher into easily understandable sentences it looks AI generated or out of nowhere the author is just trying to write in a style in which he is not adept at and failing miserably at it the character design, world building element , story development are good but this writing style is kinds grating on my nerves writing quality 1 star rest 4 to 5 stars

This novel started out really interesting, but somewhere along the way, especially during the "Empty Throne Arc," it just went downhill. The chapters became repetitive, and it got to the point where the fact that it was written by AI was too obvious to ignore. I don’t have a problem with the author using AI, but it feels like the chapters are just being copied and slightly changed over and over again. For example, during the "peace chapters," the pattern was always the same: one of Arthur’s gf would visit, and then it would end with Arthur asking Stella to help him with something. It became so predictable and boring, especially around the mid-700s chapters. It’s honestly disappointing because the novel used to be really interesting, now it feels like lazy writing if you can even call it "lazy writing" in the first place.

Definitely one of the best novels of the genre. The world is nothing revolutionary but it is well described, the side characters have their own history and their own weight, the relationships that are formed (romantic and not) are well developed and the developments of the characters are consistent with the events. The only weak point (which could also be just a personal opinion) is that from a certain point on the MC seems to no longer rely on his knowledge and no longer plans as at the beginning of the story ... This means that he very often finds himself in life and death situations and without "power ups" or something else he would not overcome certain events ... Let's hope that the "The extra's fall" moment that our MC is experiencing after the last consecutive defeats ends soon and Arthur can finally "Rise".

Could someone please tell me — I have a bit of a peculiar preference when it comes to the female characters in the protagonist’s harem: they should be virgins. For those who have read the story, could you let me know if they are? I don’t want to waste time and end up dropping the novel later. Thanks in advance.

I absolutely love good harem stories. I feel like each girl in the harem has had their emotional impact on the story. The author has done a great job of giving each girl the proper amount of "screen time." Love the power progression of the story and the in depth building of the story world. It feels like MC will do anything to protect his family and friends. It isn't just a one way street though. The various FMCs, friends, and family members would absolutely do the same for the MC. I don't want to spoil it, but I will just say there is one relationship I love the most. It was an angle I didnt see coming from the author, but it matures the MC even more. It also gives MC the biggest reason to not lose.

This a f-cking damn good novel. period. Yes, it's an isekai. Yes, it's a harem. But damn.... The writing is top-notch. The story is entertaining. The humor is good. A solid 5 star from me. And I rarely give a 5 star.
