There are several Death Reapers in the world, and each of them is assigned souls who die a certain way.
One day a mortal man named Haalfrin catches the eye of 2 Reapers – Freyya the death god of mortals fallen in battle, and Das, the reaper of souls who are killed by time – by old age.
For reasons unknown yet, Das and Freyya each want to claim Haalfrin’s mortal soul.
Being a warrior craving excitement and a life worth living, Haalfrin makes an easy target for Freyya (or so she thinks), as she creatively tries to think of ways to make sure Haalfrin doesn’t come back from his adventures alive, while her counterpart Das is trying to keep the mortal alive just long enough to expire naturally.
…The only catch is that Haalfrin himself has recently lost his entire clan, and his only desire left to him is to die a cool death. Maybe this way, he can make one final story he can tell his brothers when he meets them on the other side.

1. I don't plan on Contracting Webnovel for this Book, since it's just a hobby right now and this is my first book. SO, THIS BOOK IS COMPLETELY FREE. It's copyrighted though, so don't take this book and sell it - obviously.
2. When I showed some siblings the synopsis, they thought this was going to be a comedy. This story does have a few funny parts (particularly in Volume 4), but that's it. As a whole, this story is NOT a comedy. It's a story about a man who wants to die.

at first I was unsure, but then the story just sucked me in! what is going to happen next??? can't wait for more chapters to come out. who will win his soul?
I started the book and it starts a little slow for the first chapter or two but then it started getting really interesting and I am very excited to see where this leads! The main character is really fascinating and the fact that he can see death dieties is awesome!Lots and lots of things that have peaked my interests. I will continue reading this as it updates for sure..... keep up the awesome work author!
All right. I have some final thoughts on this book before I leave it behind for good. So, I've never written a book all the way through until this one, and it was a very new experience for me. I've always enjoyed writing, but I never really had the motivation to sit down and finish something until now. You can thank Covid19 for this book. Really, with the depression of being by myself most of the time (lockdown / social distancing) and working night shift, the frustration just built up, and I really wanted to do something useful. ------- So, here are a few things I learned from writing this book: 1) It's not a good idea to just sit down and start WRITING. Before I write, I need to make more detailed notes on where the story is headed. As a result of not doing that, the first 90 or so chapters don't have much direction. That problem, however, has mostly gone away by that point, since I had a much better idea of where the story was supposed to go. 2) I used to write simply when I feel like it or feel inspired. For this book, however, I basically forced myself to sit down for about 3-5 hours a day and write. As a result, I look back on the story and feel like cursing, since I've gotten some better ideas for the story, only to realize that it's already written out. The story flow also would've been cleaner and more compelling. Really, I honestly feel like the parts that I enjoyed writing are the parts the readers would probably enjoy reading. There are certainly many parts that I enjoyed writing a LOT, but there are other parts that simply felt painful to think about. Every time Prince Tallus or Prince Kanus was on screen, I just felt bored. Every time a dragon is onscreen, I really enjoyed myself. Volumes 3 & 5 felt amazing to write. Many parts of Volume 4 were a blast (especially the Lord Fheldin parts). The beginning of Volume 6 was really fun. The mid-section of Volume 6 (the Lareen chapters) felt a little painful to write, but the second half (the start of the Mantling Ritual) felt awesome.
Shameless (?) author review. This is my first written work. Since I'm too poor to hire an editor, and since I couldn't get people to review my work beforehand, I apologize if you read it and just UNDERSTAND that a new author wrote it. I did try my best, and means that if I enjoyed reading it, and if I couldn't find any major problems with it, then it's ready to publish. I would, however, REALLY appreciate if you leave a review, ESPECIALLY if you choose to drop it for whatever reason. Honest and helpful criticism is more valuable than gold, after all. As for my honest opinion about my own book, I'm concerned that the wording is clunky and not as concise as it needs to be. As for the story, I came up with it mostly by getting the basic concept, then running with it. I'm actually quite proud of how the story develops later on, though I'm concerned it's too slow to pick up. I tried my best with the characters, but I honestly have no clue how well designed they are. Updating stability is a no brainer. 5/5. It's all written out and queued up to publish. I'm pretty happy with the world building, though I don't know how well I'm conveying the information in a way that's either not confusing or over worded. It all makes sense to me, but I don't know if it'll make sense to you all.
