Chapter 31: The Old Woman

Xia continues to walk with no particular place to go as if she is trying to measure how far her feet could carry her. Her tired feet screamed for rest but her mind urges her to go.  Beads of sweat drip from her temples and she is now out of breath but still, she went on.

She walks down the busy street of Brittania, dissolving into the midst of the busy crowd like an ordinary citizen doing her daily routine. Above her head hang tiny little flags which in her country it was called Banderitas.

The noise of the loud drum pierce her ears and the sound of various musical instruments reached her wherever she goes. The cheerful crowd never ceased to buzz as she keeps on walking under the fading sun.  It seems that she was walking in the midst of a festival.
