Chapter 52: Expectations and Disappointments

*Carmela's POV*

Princess Jasmin is anxiously sitting in front of me, waiting for the wizard to tell us what he sees. And when Maleficus finally opened his eyes, we have our gaze glued at him. He looked at her straight in the eyes, before he opened his mouth to speak.

"Princess Jasmin, I apologized for this.. I may need more time to look at this vision again. Because it's still the same. I couldn't see his face or give you his name".

Maleficus dropped his hands on the table and looked apologetically at Princess Jasmin and me.

Even I felt disappointed but I couldn't blame the wizard for that.

Princess Jasmin had turned her head away not wanting to let us see how sad she is with the news. She had been expecting to had a glimpse of her mate's face or just even know his name. But none of those is possible, according to Maleficus.

"H-how could this happened? And why only with me? Am I being punished by the Moon Goddess?
