Chapter 73: ‘We Kissed.’ 

James had made his way to the lobby where Lily and Connor had exited the limousine and were chatting, getting along well. 

James was elated to see they were getting along as he intervened, interrupting their conversation because of his excitement. 

"Connor, Lily," he greeted with a nod. 

He was quick enough to notice Lily's slight hint of blush as she looked at Connor, which was a good enough hint to realize things had gotten interesting.

Lily smiled, seemingly in a good mood despite what had happened yesterday. 

"Hey James!" She exclaimed, exuding happiness. 

"Hello brother," Connor greeted, trying to stay calm and collected as he always was, unless he was with Lily, of course. 

Lily seemed to be busy, having somewhere to go as she excused herself from the further conversation. 

"Well, you two can chat. I have to go and visit my parents to discuss something with them, See you two later!" She said before she fled.
