I love how you explained and are building this world up making your own original idea transforming like mana and making this really different than a typical mana novel you don't have very many cliches and I even love how your cultivating the fool and how he is and thinks like an assassin fights like one to where in alot of novels they try to make an assassin one who seems heroic or justified almost naive and fight completely out of one our main character can use a sword but it's not his preferred question and every time he gets a power up it feels earned and less like just pure plot armor nothing feels forced and you make sure to even have his interests as well feel like people and they are changing and growing everything feels very flexible like water or rubber working very smooth

Author here. Dropping another review after writing 40 chapters. As I mentioned before, the story is set in a Victorian era setting with some more modern elements on the backdrop of a never-ending war between Humans and Beasts. The first 40 chapters follows our MC as we get to see his first life, how it ended and how it affected his personality going into his second life. From then on, we see the happenings and choices which led him on the path of an Assassin and how he prepared for the life. We get a peek into his methodical and cynical mind as he rationally and logically examines the world around him, how it affects him positively or negatively and how he uses them to achieve his goals. We are given a rich understanding of the new world the MC finds himself, the tools (i.e. Blessing and innate advantages) at his disposal and how he uses them. We see how he deals with some personal dilemma that comes his way due to the events of his first life and the urgings of his Blessings. But most importantly, we see him carry out some assassinations. We are given a front role seat into the mind of an artistic killer who targets stronger prey by using his ingenuity and the tools afforded to him. (P.S: Expect some twisted views.) * In truth, these first 40 chapters were for me, the author, as they were for you, the reader. Going in, all I had were the assassination plots I wanted to write. It was only while penning down these few chapters that I came up with the lore of the world as well as the conditions and restrictions the characters would have to abide by. In a way, it’s a growing world and a wonderful work in progress. - This is my first time writing completely from a first person perspective and from the perspective of a social loner who is always in his head no less. The character starts off almost completely focussed on getting stronger and obtaining information about his new world where he is disadvantaged from the beginning, that he ignores most of the people around him. He hardly talks about or speaks on anyone or anything other than increasing his strength or his current situation. I guess this is why most readers of the earlier chapters might feel the side characters are not yet fleshed out. I guess you can say it was deliberate, to an extent. In retrospect, I admit I overdid some things so I changed things a bit later on. All in all, I’ve had fun with this project. It’s a breath of fresh air from what I’m used to. If you’re reading this, I hope you’ll at least give the open chapters a try and form your opinion. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it, just as much as I had fun writing it. - As always, please I welcome comments, observations and criticisms. Let me know what you think about it. What do you think can add to the enjoyment of the book? Did you notice anything you think I missed or made a mistake in? Let me know. I’ll do my best to respond. - Okay. I’m done for now. Till next time 👍

This is the author here. I suck at reviews so I just tend to write my thoughts. These are my thoughts going into writing the story. I’ll drop ‘reviews’ like this after different milestones. Alright. Let’s begin. * Review at Chapter 0. Idea: An Assassin, without any magical ability assassinating mana-empowered humans and beasts mostly with intelligent attacks and/or simply cool methods. Who said ordinary humans can’t kill super-humans? The story should be told completely from the Assassin’s perspective. Premise: The Strongest soldier (Self-proclaimed) in one world is killed and reincarnates into a parallel world where he becomes the Apex assassin (Self-proclaimed). Setting: A blend of 21st Century Cities with 19th century (Victorian era) societal elements on a backdrop of never-ending war between mana-enhanced humans and beasts. POV: The Story is styled as an extract from the Main Character’s memoir  so it is completely in the MC’s Point of view and based on his personal bias. P.S: A sweet old grandma could very well be presented as a villainous old woman who constantly disturbs the MC’s life. (Just an example. Doesn’t really happen... I think.) M.C: Due to the experiences of his first life and the circumstances of his death, the MC will come off as cynical and methodical. He is very thorough in the planning and execution of his assassination and leaves nothing to chance when he works. P.S: The MC claims not to have any abilities in one breath, yet on the other hand, claims to have been blessed by Loki. Makes you wonder, isn’t the blessing in itself an ability🤔? Disclaimer: The assassination methods you’re about to read have been tested and proven many times to confirm their effectiveness. As detailed information, for the most parts, will be given on each assassination, for as long as I can manage, please I beg you, DON’T attempt any of them. I will not be held liable if you die or kill someone! Final Words: This is a story conceived in the mind of a delusional individual who was told to get a week’s rest but instead decided to binge play the HitmanTM Trilogy games for the first whole five days, before proceeding to watch the game movie of the entire God of War series in the remaining two days. The story came to him as a consequence of this binge week. You should know what to expect.😏 P.S: Only the assassinations were planned in detail. The other parts of the story were an afterthought so there's a possibility, a very slim one, that some things might not make sense. (I know I’m shooting myself in the foot with this but I just thought I should put this out their...) - This is a dream story (literally). I hope you enjoy it!

This is by far one of the best novels I have read this year. The storytelling is impeccable, and the plot is intriguingly good. At first, I didn't want to read this novel because of the harem tag, so I just added it to my library without much thought. Oh, what a great mistake that was! I soon realized that I was missing out on a truly exceptional work of fiction. What I love about this novel is how the protagonist approaches his challenges and how his thought processes work. The character development is top-notch, and the way the author weaves together the various plot threads is masterful
