Synopsis
Wenyan read a book in which a cannon-fodder character sharing her name was a false heiress. After the true heiress assumed her position, the impostor tried to secure her place in the wealthy family by drugging the eldest son and making a done deal out of a cooked rice, only to be unmasked by the Shen Family and end up committing suicide in despair.
Wenyan was furious to see such an ending. How could one not survive without the backing of a wealthy family? Hadn't the family provided her with a luxury house and countless luxury goods? Just selling those off would fetch tens of millions. She was just a hopeless case!
If she were the Wenyan in the book, she would have relinquished her position and just lived laid-back like a salted fish!

The book starts well, even the story built up in the initial stages is good however it deviates from the main plot as story progresses. Story focuses too much on MC WY and there is hardly any focus on the characters of her family members. All scenes revolve only around her and no extra story built up for other characters. It feels waste of such good and strong characters. It makes it look like their existence is only cos of her n to cater to her whims n wishes. The introduction of FL from original novel is quite late, ML from original novel isn’t introduced even after 300 chapters. overall it is a good read till 200 plus chap but post that it fails to keep interest. Honestly it was a good story n I hope author can improve in the future chapters cos I would really like to read it till end.
i'm a sucker for slow romance. though the story leans more on Wenyan's work i still patiently waits for their love story to materialize. so far so good keep up the good work author👍👍👍
This book is very good. It is a pleasure to read and the plot encourages reading. It's hard to break away from it. I recommend it
oh my this book was too interesting. I cried a few times towards the end... although I was a bit skeptical about how it was going to end, I think it did end well.
The story is awesome but i can't understand why the author writes the last etc chapters of the fourth brother.... it's not necessary to this story because before the eldest brother's love story was also awesome....so it's not important to write about the fourth brother but i really like this story thank you author for writing beautiful story ❤️😘
I absolutely loved this novel! It was after quite a while that i could find one as engaging and addicting as it was and I'm glad i read it. I definitely would recommend others to try it out too!
This has been a great read so far but the slow romance development is killing me. Honestly would’ve preferred to know when I can expect romance to develop. Im putting this story on hold on my bookshelf and maybe come back to it someday.
So far so good. The fl inner thoughts are funny and cute. I like her developing relationship with her 2 brothers (ice block and tsundere) and the other has yet to show up. Mother is a sweet lady who genuinely cares for her so I’m glad to see them repairing their relationship. Keep up the good work 👍🏽👍🏽

this novel started off good in relation to its summary but after about 20 good chapters of her family life, the chapters that follows are about her being in the industry, gettingt an acting gig, and the usual trope that always follow about making wave in the tabloids with another male actor and the likes, it got super boring. even though it's free, I'm stopping at chapter 48, I'm so bored
from around chapter 400 or so up to chapter 600 ish. i had trouble reading this and honestly regretted buying the whole novel(loved up to chapter 250 ish, read it so fast lol). in short chapter 1 - ~250, great loved them chapter ~300 - 450 felt it went downhill or forced cant quite put my finger on why i dont like those chapters as much but still binge read them chapter 450-600 was hard to read, read in 10 chapter bursts after distracting with watching youtube or such. was hard to keep reading. almost dropped it(in hindsight im glad i didnt but still) 600ish-640 i got back into the plot and read more than ever without needing to distract myself again. started to like it again. and last spurt of 640 to 656 loved it again like the first few hundred chapters. the 50yr old brother made me so sad it was perfect. loved the happy ending with him later too. so glad there was the sad one and the happy one after, lol reminded me of clannad with the happy then really sad deaths then later it did a happy ending alternate. not sure how the last 6 chapters will be but im satisfied with first/eldest brother ending. although i doubt i will like the fourth brother alt ending but will still finish it cause i bought the whole novel and dont want to waste it. overall, loved the beginning(first 200 chapters) and last section(last 80 chapters). didnt like beginning middle part(200-400) as much and nearly hated the middle end(400-580) part.
The theme of the story is one of my favorite, but it's still one of a kind for me. I think the story could be developed more as at the end of the story, there's no sense of satisfaction for me. But, at least, there are no unresolved conflicts at the end of the story. Thank you for the hard work, author 🙏🏻
This was a very cute book. I really enjoyed it. I wish there were more mind reading incidents.. hahahahaha
Read past chapter 50 and I am loving this book so far. Family is big with 9 members plus the cat and of course it's full of beautiful people. Family stories has been spilled and fl has a diary that's opened up a can of worms of buried secrets. Really interesting so much so since I've found this today I've not put it down and I can't sleep yet. Definitely 💯 recommend.
