SYNOPSIS:
Kallous, a self-proclaimed writer, awakens with a stiff neck and a sinking feeling in his stomach. He's not looking at a blank page, but at the bright night sky, which he eventually discovered was from the "Tower's Champion," his completed fantasy novel. Except that this world was more lively than he expected. Lively, but doomed. The ending he penned involved the world's fiery destruction, which Kallous desperately wants to change (especially since he's stuck here).
Fortunately, Kallous was not alone. He has a system at his side, and not just one with lagging updates. Forget Siri; Allyn, the system's administrator, is a walking emoji bank with an endless supply of optimism and the ability to summon food (Kallous' weakness, Allyn quickly discovers). From delightfully cool chocolate pudding to Kallous' particular favorite-cookies-Allyn keeps his stomach and spirits satisfied, all while cheerfully labeling everyone they meet as "shiny" (good) or "unshiny" (well, you get the picture).
Can they both outsmart prophecies, dodge mythical creatures, and maybe sneak in a nap? Or will he become the powerless main character in his own story? Find out in "The Regressor of a Saint: Kallous Really Didn't Sign Up For This Bullshit."
