In the magical world of Arlus, talented young magicians across all races dream of enrolling at the prestigious Magic Academy. The staple of magical education, its students are given the opportunity to develop their magical skills to their heart's content and become the new leaders in the world of magic. However, Magic Academy has one overwhelming shame: Rynin. The Runt of Magic Academy.

Despite being the son of the Draconic Godking, Rynin is utterly talentless yet foolishly motivated to become a magician at all costs. Forsaken by family and race alike, he enrols himself at Magic Academy to prove himself worthy and maintain his pride. Unfortunately, his fellow classmates cannot stand his overwhelming arrogance and hypocrisy, and decide to kill him to shut him up for good. However, at the verge of death, Rynin uncovers an unknown power unlike anything anyone had ever seen before.
