Chapter 766: We need to resolve things (1)

19 June, a Lakeside Villa, The Venue, City K

Lexi, watched as Matthew removed the breakfast dishes and sat them outside the villa door, before coming back into the lounge area and sitting down on a chair opposite the sofa she was resting on.

Lexi noticed Matthew directly looking at her and after a couple of minutes of silence, Lexi quietly said "We need to resolve things Matthew."

Matthew nodded and said, "Will you hear me out with what Dominic said to me before he left with Chester last night?"

"Well, you drove our son away, so why should I…"

Sharply Matthew said "Lexi, that is exactly the problem.  You want to just blame me."

"As I should," came Lexi's snapped response.

Matthew just ran his left hand through his hair, before sighing and saying "I get it.  Things were easier for you and Dominic without me, but that is not our reality…"

"Who made that the case?"
